I have been a proud member of Flowers from the Farm for 10 years and collaborate with other likeminded growers to provide a truly British product. Our flowers are grown for colour, scent, shape and texture to impact on all the senses. The bulk of our flowers are grown on our own land in a wildlife friendly environment without the use of pesticides. We supply flowers and floristry services for al

l the special occasions in life from birthdays, celebrations and weddings through to a final farewell. Always with the environment in mind, no floral foam (or any of it's highly engineered substitutes) is ever used and I avoid single use plastic, to provide arrangements that may be re-purposed into bouquets or arrangements after any event.

I really thought these subscription flowers would never get delivered this week, with an horrendously late wholesale delivery yesterday and a broken clutch on the car last night that the RAC gave me a midnight to 3am slot to fix😟 Forget being a woman alone stuck with a car in a dark space. It doesn't matter!

Anyway the good news is Mr Spotted Dog will be out delivering very soon and we won't be missing Lincoln Farmers Market tomorrow so hope to see you there.

If there’s a heart shaped (or round) space on your wall this autumn drop me a message. These are bespoke, made to order using flowers and willow grown by me. Hydrangeas by others as I don’t grow them.

This one’s got a home to go to but I’ll make them until the supplies run out so I can get the spare bedroom back!

In 2022 1st October looked like this! Today with rain beating down, preceded by 4 nights of frost already, it’s a very different picture. Every year is different in flower farming and it’s getting harder. Climate change is real.

I’m having an indoor day planning on how to beat whatever next year’s weather throws at us and catching up on wedding admin. If you’re waiting for a response you are on my list!

No flowers for Lincoln Farmers Market at Bailgate and Uphill Lincoln this week as I'm on holiday amid storms and sun in Paxos. Back to work next Monday! Meanwhile fans of Netflix Maestro in Blue might recognise the building💙

Growing and Selling Seasonal Flowers

Linda and the team grow and sell fabulous seasonal flowers, herbs and foliage on a small farm in Blyton. We sell flowers by the bucket which are great for brides who wish to do their own wedding flowers or we can provide a full service or any combination in between. If you want us just to do the fiddly bits with bouquets and buttonholes that's fine. Individuals, floral designers and florists are welcome to purchase from the farm by arrangement, and we sell by the stem or bucket. Find us at local fairs and events during the summer months and dates will be on our website soon. We are a part of Flowers from the Farm and collaborate with other likeminded growers to provide a truly British product. Our flowers are grown for colour, scent, shape, texture to impact on all the senses - some are even edible! The bulk of our flowers are grown on our own land in a wildlife friendly environment without the use of pesticides. Contact Linda on 07794 207168 with any enquiries or for further information. We are not a shop and would request visitors by appointment only.
