The Spotted Dog Flower Co. Growing and styling planet friendly flowers in the Lincolnshire countryside Growing and sell fabulous seasonal flowers and herbs on a small farm in Blyton.

I have been a proud member of Flowers from the Farm for 10 years and collaborate with other likeminded growers to provide a truly British product. Our flowers are grown for colour, scent, shape and texture to impact on all the senses. The bulk of our flowers are grown on our own land in a wildlife friendly environment without the use of pesticides. We supply flowers and floristry services for al

l the special occasions in life from birthdays, celebrations and weddings through to a final farewell. Always with the environment in mind, no floral foam (or any of it's highly engineered substitutes) is ever used and I avoid single use plastic, to provide arrangements that may be re-purposed into bouquets or arrangements after any event.

Looking forward to bringing lots of spring flowers on Saturday.

Valentine's Day is not really my thing as imported red roses are an absolute no! I do like to support our local farmers markets year round if I can though and that means buying in some flowers at this time of year.

These tulips haven't travelled far as they are Lincolnshire's finest from Smith and Munson. I'm just off outside to cut some greenery and catkins ready for Lincoln Farmers' Market on Saturday. Hope to see you there. Wrap up warm, I know I will 😊

To all Brigg Farmers' Market customers I'm sorry but I won't be there on Saturday as it's the annual conference of Flowers From The Farm an unmissable event in the calendar.

Meanwhile if you'd still like a flower fix message me to collect a bunch or jar on Sunday morning. They will look something like this!

Today I'm delivering subscription flowers and it's not too late to join the first quarter - hop onto the website before 1.00pm and sign up.

The last of the decorative wreaths are complete and now adorning front doors from as far apart as Teesside and London, as well as much more locally. Thank you everyone, I've really enjoyed making them.

This week I'll be concentrating on remembrance wreaths, table decs and flowers for Saturday's farmers market in Castle Square, Lincoln from 9-3, which will be my last trading day of 2024. If there's anything you would like saving on Saturday do let me know.

I'm really sad to be missing Brigg on Saturday and it's really unfortunate when the two dates clash in December but I'll be back at Brigg in February when it will nearly be Spring 🌷🌷

I've been running this business for 11 years and thought my husband might be able to distinguish between dead/dying flowers and a beautiful fresh bunch by now! To my horror yesterday afternoon I discovered the flowers that should have been collected the day before resting on a workbench....and that the "pretty coloured (dead) ones" next to the sink had been given instead 🙄 Fortunately all was quickly resolved!

Growing and Selling Seasonal Flowers

Linda and the team grow and sell fabulous seasonal flowers, herbs and foliage on a small farm in Blyton. We sell flowers by the bucket which are great for brides who wish to do their own wedding flowers or we can provide a full service or any combination in between. If you want us just to do the fiddly bits with bouquets and buttonholes that's fine. Individuals, floral designers and florists are welcome to purchase from the farm by arrangement, and we sell by the stem or bucket. Find us at local fairs and events during the summer months and dates will be on our website soon. We are a part of Flowers from the Farm and collaborate with other likeminded growers to provide a truly British product. Our flowers are grown for colour, scent, shape, texture to impact on all the senses - some are even edible! The bulk of our flowers are grown on our own land in a wildlife friendly environment without the use of pesticides. Contact Linda on 07794 207168 with any enquiries or for further information. We are not a shop and would request visitors by appointment only.
