Real Wedding: Tessa & Steve 29.08.2024 🤍

With mannequin body parts scattered across our lawn, a cake of cheese and a bespoke Darwin-inspired tasting menu, Steve and Tessa's wedding day was unique to say the least! It is certainly a wonderful wedding day that we will never forget at Cleatham Hall.

Tessa and Steve were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony, surrounded by family and friends. Onto the drinks reception, with a fabulous Prosecco tower and delicious canapés.

For their wedding breakfast, our talented chef worked with Steve and Tessa to develop a bespoke Darwin-inspired tasting menu (linking back to Cleatham Hall's history with the Darwin family!) Wine pairings were enjoyed with each course 🍽🍷

Tessa and Steve's wedding day was filled with love and laughter from start to finish and we wish them both a lifetime of happiness 🥰

Real Wedding: Kerry & Craig 24.08.2024 🤍

Congratulations to the lovely Kerry & Craig, who were married at Cleatham Hall on Saturday in an intimate indoor ceremony.

With a sage green and white colour scheme and lots of gorgeous natural greenery, the whole wedding looked beautiful. Not forgetting the fabulous crisp wall that proved popular with guests!

Following the ceremony and a delicious wedding breakfast, Craig's brother-in-law entertained guests with a wonderful guitar set 🎸 DJ Dave from Next Generation then came to DJ for the evening party celebrations.

Real Wedding: Jordan & Tom 17.08.2024 🤍

It was an absolute pleasure to host Jordan & Tom's wedding day at Cleatham Hall on Saturday. And what a beautiful day it was!

Jordan and Tom exchanged their vows in a stunning outdoor ceremony on Cleatham Hall's grounds, under a gorgeous wooden arch provided by Howards Events. A perfect colour combination of dusty blue and sage green was used throughout all decor and flowers, and their welcome sign provided a pawsome personal touch 🐈‍⬛

During the reception drinks, guests were entertained by a piper, honouring bride Jordan's Scottish heritage 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Following an elegant wedding breakfast, guests enjoyed music from SUPERfreak funk band and sipped on special his & hers cocktails 🎸🍹

You are cordially invited to an evening of mystery and murder at Cleatham Hall! 🔍

Cleatham Hall is a grade II listed mansion, dating back to the 17th century. The hall was once owned by Charles Darwin’s ancestors, with Darwin mentioning in his writings that William Darwin (1575-1644) owned the estate at Cleatham in about 1600.

'Darwin's Lost Legacy' is based on Cleatham Hall's links to the Darwin family. Written and performed by the fabulous Broughton Dramatic Society, Darwin's Lost Legacy will be an immersive murder mystery event that will test your detective skills and keep you on the edge of your seat!

Friday 22nd November from 7pm.

Tickets are £50 per person, which includes a welcome drink, delicious 3-course meal, plus your murder mystery entertainment. We also have some wonderful hotel package deals available, which can be found on our website.

Real Wedding - Lydia & Jordan 03.08.2024 🤍

Lydia and Jordan were married at Cleatham Hall on Saturday in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. Incorporating gorgeous blush pink, lilac and sage green in their decor, with stunning floral displays from the talented Sarah Richards Bridal Florals and stationary/signage by Peony Print Room. Bay Tree Cakes provided a magnificent 3-tier cake adorned with delicate pink flowers 🌸

Following the ceremony, guests gathered for a drinks reception and enjoyed music from the wonderful saxophone player Matt Stacey Sax 🎷

We'd like to give a huge supplier shout-out to DJ Dave from Next Generation! Dave has been DJ-ing weddings at Cleatham Hall for a number of years and always provides a fabulous service! He knows how to fill a dance floor and let people boogie the night away 💃

For each celebration, Dave always takes the time to get to know each couple and their individual music tastes, so that their evening reception is just as they always imagined.
