Hello you gorgy people ✨

I’ve been radio silent on here due to taking a wee break while moving house, and needless to say I’ve enjoyed taking some time to myself after my first year running a business while working full time. It’s definitely not for the faint hearted! 😅

Due to going on holiday in a few weeks, and also feeling really mentally exhausted after the most hectic year, I’ve made the decision to close Bloom Valley’s everyday bloom diary until the new year. We are however still taking on wedding bookings for the future, we just won’t be taking on anymore floral deliveries/pick ups until 2024 💐

It’s really hard for me to take this break, because the flowers are my true passion. However between working loads and the move, I feel a wee bit burnt out and need some time to relax. Also, for the first time in a few years, I’m off for the Christmas period. Usually I don’t get this off with my shift pattern - so I’m going to take full advantage and enjoy Christmas off by not going any florals then either and enjoying my first festive period off in a long time! 🎄🎅🏻

Our next wedding is in February of 2024 and I can’t wait to get back into it then! And like I said, we are still taking on wedding bookings for 2024/2025 so if you’re after us for your big day, send us an email! All current enquiries will be replied to by the end of this month. I really hope you can all understand that my wee self needs this break to relax for a bit and enjoy some family time.

Hello everyone! Wee update - Bloom Valley has moved! We are now based in Kilmarnock at my new home. Due to moving, I’ve made the decision to close my diary and also to take a break until Christmas from doing bouquets to allow me to settle into my new home 🏡🫶🏻

All wedding and event enquiries will be replied to soon - I’ve been so so busy since the middle of July so I have more than a few to go through and they will be replied to soon.

Don’t worry - I’ll still be posting and if I decide to do some florals I’ll post here and you guys will be the first to know ✨

One of the people who booked me when I first started out! Dream couple to work with 🫶🏻

For this gorgy recipe we used Tibet roses, gyp, Eryngium, lisianthus, spray roses and some ruscus 🌿🕊️🫐

The venue was set at the gorgeous and it was just stunning and the staff were so lovely and complimentary to us 😇

supplying us with the freshest goods again as usual 💐

Thanks to my wee Mum for her help also in the set up and run up to the big day - I couldn’t do all of this without her! ✨

✨ EVENT DRESSING ✨

A wee throwback today to when I did some event dressing on one of the hottest days of the year last year for Mr and Mrs McCluskey 💒👫☀️

We used gorgeous blush and neutral tones for this one to match the artificial arch and centrepieces the couple had, to give that fresh bright feeling to welcome guests to the ceremony and reception 🫶🏻

I’ve known the family for years so it was a pleasure to be asked to do something for their big day and they’ve been one of my biggest supporters since I first started Bloom Valley ✨

Also big thanks to my wee Mum that day as she came and helped and kept me cool with water and a wee helping hand 🥰👩‍👧

STILL not over this one 🥹🙈🌺✨

The most gorgeous bright colours with wild structure for Ali and Steve. Anyone who knows this couple knows that these colours just suited them both to a T 🫶🏻

For Steve’s buttonhole I did something a wee bit different, and I absolutely loved the result! A pocket square flower that slots right into the pocket allowing the groom to have a wee bit more than just a pinned flower! So I’ll now be offering these going forward ✨

The flowers we chose during the consultation were Cerise roses, Gerberas, Orange spray roses, Delphiniums, Carnations, Daisies, Lsianthus, Ranunculus with some Ruscus and Populous for foliage - giving them the bright colours they wanted for their big day 🌈😇

I also cannot thank all the lovely people who sent me messages and comments complimenting the flowers, it truly does mean the world! I’ve only just came down from cloud nine ☁️🥹

Laura is by far the most talented person I know when it comes to socials, branding design, advertisement and PR. Bloom Valley would not be the brand it is today if it wasn’t for this girl I’m so lucky to call my best friend 💁🏻‍♀️

She is our very own marketing and PR expert and will always help me put my best foot forward within the business world. When I was floundering trying to start a business I had no idea how to grow socials or what an algorithm even was 🫣

Hey you lovely lot! For those who are new here…hello and welcome to Bloom Valley 🌿🫶🏻
