About Us

Lamesley Childcare is a registered charity. Established in June 1992 by Joan Alexanders to help parents balance work and family committment by providing quality, fun filled childcare during school holidays. We are now one of the largest and longest established childcare provider in Gateshead, offering breakfast clubs and after school provision in six local schools and a centrally based holiday club in Lamesley (close to Team Valley). With more than twenty-six years of experience we continue to grow and currently care for up to 230 children each day.

Our highly skilled management committee are committed to offering a competitively priced, quality service and meet regularly to manage and develop the service.
