The Alex Hamilton Band are playing at Gilling East Village Hall on Saturday 21st June. Tickets are £10 and available from [email protected] The band will play from 8.00pm, doors open 7.30pm.

The Alex Hamilton Band are Blues/Rock/Americana in style, who combine melodic rock vocals, hard-hitting lyrics and superlative heart-felt guitar technique.

This weekend will see our first Mainline Rally of the year. Scale trains will be running to a timetable from 0800-1700 Saturday and Sunday. Tea, coffee, sandwiches and home made cake will be available in Gilling East Village Hall. Beer from Helmsley Brewery will be also available. We look forward to seeing lots of spectators.

A great turn out for this morning's Dawn Chorus Walk. So far we have heard a goldfinch, blackbird, thrush, black cap, robin, wren, rook, jackdawn, great tit and many more. We will finish up at the village hall for breakfast. Thanks to Jonathon Pomroy for leading this walk.

Jonathan is holding his annual art exhibition in Gilling Village Hall this weekend, open from 10.00am until 5.00pm.
