The Up In Smoke Theatre Company is a Family-run business based in North Dorset specialising in the sale and hire of Sound & Light equipment, the sale Bonfire night style products and Everything(!) else Entertainment! We also sell a vast range of Party products including Helium Balloons, Banners, Confetti, Decorations and everything else you could possibly need for your event.

Our hire department is one of our busiest sections and there's no hire too big or small... From a single lead right through to a complete Sound & Lighting System - We can even provide staging if needs be! Bonfire night associated products are in stock and available for purchase 365 days a year and we can cater for any budget - from smaller party stuff through to Professional Display items. We have plenty of easy to use, do-it-yourself disco kits available for hire meaning you can have a full disco, playing as late as you like (or even the next day) and with your exact choice of music. The speakers in this kit are very loud and have been used & hired by many local DJ's, so you can be certain they are loud enough. So whether you're after a Balloon or a Full-On Party then get in touch with our friendly team now! We're open most of the week but do have lots of outside activities which mean we can't always do standard hours (Please phone to confirm we're open before coming in just to be sure) ... The kettle is always hot! We have plenty of free parking, meaning you don't have to carry your balloons, fireworks or hire kit very far at all (you can load up right outside the door). 📣FREE DEFIBRILLATOR TRAINING📣

On Monday 4th November 2024, the South Western Ambulance Service will be holding a free community training event at Gillingham Bowling Club, SP8 4QR, on how to use a defibrillator.

The session will start at 7pm and will last approximately 2 hours.
This is a free session, open to the public, to book your place see the poster below👇

❤️A defibrillator is a portable device that can give a casualty's heart an electric shock, when it has stopped beating normally in a sudden cardiac arrest.
By using a defibrillator before an ambulance arrives, you can significantly increase someone's chance of survival ❤️

This little thingy is great for both Halloween and weddings..... ( you can make your own comparisons...) Easy to use and very portable Ideal for those first dance photos We have these in both hire and sales stock

Although we have plenty of things to scare people this Halloween, there's not much as frightening as the electric bill .... but we can still power this guy up since he works off batteries
