Most people know the iconic opening theme of "Downton Abbey" with it's bells...Did you know Killochan ALSO has the servants bells in the lower corridor?! Well it does, while they are no longer utilised, they remain one of the original and authentic touches the castle has. Each bell has it's own tone (as you can hear) and each servant would learn which one went to where, so they would know to listen for their assigned family member or room.
So many little historical secrets to find. We highly recommend staying the night, and hunting for all the secret stairs and passageways, and original details still around the castle!
