What an incredible wedding ceremony we had yesterday at a venue so close that I can actually see it from my living room window!

Ever since Stephanie and Richard met in their teens they have been inseparable. ❤️ They have grown together and stuck by each other through all their highs and lows. They even welcomed their Son Brodie into the world just 3 minutes into the very first lockdown!

Joined by over 60 of their closest family and friends we all laughed and cried (happy tears) as I had the great privilege of telling their love story. 🫶

Congratulations once again Mr and Mrs McLeod x

Sunday took me to the Corinthian right in the heart of Glasgow City Centre for the wedding of Elisa and Ross.

Elisa and Ross were joined by 14 of their closest family and friends as well as 2 stars of the show, their 2 children Charlie and Poppy.

We had a very personal ceremony which included a poem written by Elisa to her new husband Ross. We rounded off the ceremony by "drinking from the Quaich" which consisted of one of their favourite tipples - Tequila Rose.

Elisa and Ross, you both did incredible to bring this all together in such a short period of time. I hope you all had a fantastic rest of your day and made lots of happy memories to cherish forever ❤️

An absolutely beautiful and very intimate wedding ceremony today at the stunning Corinthian.

I won't go into the details of the wedding until this amazing couple have had the opportunity to share everything with their friends and family but all I will say is that it was a truly fun and emotional day ❤️

I absolutely love this ❤️ The best part of being a celebrant is getting to know a couple and being able to tell THEIR story.

The worst part is when the ceremony is over and I need to say my goodbyes. Especially when they're as special as Kyran and Sophie.

Wow! What an afternoon that was. Rafael and Jamie chose to get married at Jamie's parents house. It looked absolutely stunning and I received an amazing welcome into the family home!! 😍

A very intimate and personal ceremony with their closest friends and family (Rafaels family coming over from Brazil). There were many happy tears and roars of laughter throughout their ceremony. It couldn't have been better.

Rafael and Jamie are 2 of the nicest people I've ever met. Both genuine, decent people and i will miss our catch ups! 😢

A busy week ahead. Several meetings and catch-ups tonight and then then on Thursday it's the wedding of Rafael and Jamie which will be amazing. Saturday then takes me to Lochgreen House Hotel for the marriage of Catherine and Raymond.

I'm back from a week in the sunshine, relaxed and raring to go again! I had a fantastic catchup with Rafael and Jamie this evening and can't wait for their wedding next week! 😊

Huge Congratulations to Katie and Daniel who I had the privilege of marrying just before I went on holiday at the Redhurst Hotel.

It was an incredible day and I was really touched to receive a message from them the following day. Thank you both so much! ❤️

On Saturday I had the pleasure of marrying Nicola and Harry at 91b Private Members Venue. I knew from our very first meeting that this ceremony would be filled with love and laughter and that's exactly what happened.

They even brought along their fur baby Nara who barked her seal of approval at the right moments!

An amazing day for an amazing couple. Congratulations Mr and Mrs Padda.

I absolutely love these photos taken at Nicola and Harry's wedding yesterday.

The girls at Fetch N Stretch did an amazing job of looking after their fur baby Nara during the wedding (and kudos also to best man Jonny 👏).

Nara was one of the stars of the show and it was only right she should be included.

Congratulations to Mr and Mrs Padda. As I mentioned during their amazing ceremony, Harry can now change Nara's surname from Sheppard to Padda 😂

Saturday took me a short trip to the stunning Rowallan Castle for the wedding of Rhiannon and Adam all the way from Toronto.

With 96 of their friends and family in attendance it was always going to be an amazing day. We even had a blend of their Dad's favourite Whisky's expertly poured into the Quaich by their Mums 😍

What a day!! ♥️

When I set out on my journey to become a celebrant this is exactly what my aim was - to be more like a family friend than just someone who is marrying you. The days of "stuffy celebrants" are a thing of the past. Your wedding should be fun, personal and above all memorable.
