What’s really cool is that this year we put out music that we actually love and enjoyed making and it is so satisfying to see the difference in how it has been received compared to a few years ago.. (swipe to see our 2020 stats for context)

As 2023 comes to a close, we’ve had the chance to reflect on the past 12 months and we can honestly say we are really happy with the past year 💯

This is the first year that’s we’ve actually taken music seriously and put the work in and see what happens, and it’s crazy what a little bit of effort and consistency can bring.

We wrote out these goals on the whiteboard at the start of the year and we managed to smash all of them, which means we’ll definitely be setting bigger goals for 2024..

We want to thank everyone who listens to our music, comes to our shows, or supports us from afar, without you guys, we couldn’t do what we do 🖤

With that being said, here’s some of our highlights from 2023, and maybe a little sneak peak about our first track of 2024.. 😎

1. Our 2023 Goals that we managed to hit ✅
2. Tiësto giving the final approval for us and KURA’s Sentir Saudade Remix ✍️ Having the DJ Godfather approve our remix was definitely a childhood dream come true.. When he gave us a shout out on CLUB LIFE we were absolutely freaking out haha!
3.We got some sexy new press shots, courtesy of GroundlandMedia 📸
4. The WhatsApp conversation that confirmed our first release of 2024 👀🤫

Our Story

SHVDZ is a Glasgow-bred DJ and production duo comprised of Reece Ginestri and John Connor. With their bass driven music style, producing anything from groove inspired Tech-House to hard-hitting Bass-House, G-House and Mid-Tempo, this duo’s sounds are built for the clubs.

The pair were first drawn together at the age of 16 when they both attended the same music production course whilst still at high school. They instantly sparked a strong connection through their love for electronic music and DJ-ing. When they found out that they lived in the same area, the two began making music together and never looked back..

Finally, after years of finding their sound, and signing their first record deal with the well established Reece Low’s record label Lowded recordings, it is time for SHVDZ to reveal themselves to the world and make some noise in the electronic dance music scene.
