Joining us in April - Vivien Taylor

Vivien Taylor, a Glaswegian award-winning actress, has performed in the horror genre over the past two decades. Her first named TV role was as Lady Millicent Montague in CBBC’s SPOOK SQUAD, and shortly after, she made her feature film debut as Tamara in the Scottish indie horror film CYCLE.

From a young age, Vivien has loved horror classics like THE EXORCIST, THE SHINING, and the POLTERGEIST movies. Secretly, she always dreamed of playing a character like Regan from THE EXORCIST, and her dream came true when she was cast as the iconic and chilling Zombie Matron in the action horror feature film OUTPOST: BLACK SUN. Vivien also portrayed the Nurse in the prequel, OUTPOST III: RISE OF THE SPETSNAZ, which was released worldwide.

In addition to her on-screen roles, Vivien is a talented voice actress and voice-over artist. She provided many of the female voices in CBBC’s BAFTA award-winning "OOglies FUNSIZE and played Lavinia Whateley in the 'World's First Audio Movie,' H.P. LOVECRAFT’S THE DUNWICH HORROR, which won 'Best of the Fest' at the Edinburgh International Film Festival. Her voice work extends to various video games, including Orla in WARGROOVE: DOUBLE TROUBLE and a lead role in an exciting new game set for release later in 2025. Vivien will also be appearing in a new CBBC programme later this year, bringing another terrifying character to life.

In 2022, Vivien won two Best Actress Awards for her performance in the award-winning psychological horror short, TEALIGHT, where she played the protagonist, Evelyn. She also played the precocious little sister, Maisie, in the multi-award-winning short, CENSURE, starring Tom Conti. Vivien was thrilled to reunite with the same team for the award-winning CONFINES, and she eagerly anticipates playing the lead in the upcoming psychological horror film, BAMBOLA, currently in pre-production.

Joining us in April - Seylan Baxter

Seylan Baxter is a Scottish actor and musician based in Dunoon. She began her acting career as a witch in the 2015 Macbeth feature directed by Justin Kurzel and is also known for playing the first incarnation of Tecteun, adoptive mother of Doctor Who.

In Horror, she's best known as the medium in Host, directed by Rob Savage and filmed during the first Covid lockdown. She also appeared in his following two films, Dashcam (2021) and The Boogeyman (2023).

Well… this is awkward. Turns out, our social media manager, Janet, isn’t just a quirky goth who loves coffee and chaos—she’s actually a full-blown demon from Hell. 😈

And because Janet’s pretty good at her job (and maybe pulled a few strings in the underworld), we’re excited to announce that Hell Itself is now an official sponsor of Horror Con Scotland 2025!
