YES - believe that it's not a difficult thing to say. When you find a dress that you love and you feel amazing, stop worrying about actually saying YES. There are so many dresses out there and you simply can't try them all so stop worrying about 'is there another dress?' Make your decision in the room or go sleep on it, we only care that you are comfortable in saying it, whatever that looks like for you.
Just think about getting rid of the anxiety around saying it.

NO- so it's not the dress for you. It just doesn't feel right and you don't know why it's not your dress but it's not. Tell us that. Don't say you are going to think about it if you know it's not your dress. We are big girls, we'd rather hear the truth and when a bride says, it's not the one, we appreciate the truth and the honesty. This is our career, our profession, we can and truly will, give you the best advice on your next steps if you don't find a dress with us. Normalise the word no, it's not hurtful for us to hear it at all.

REPLY - wait for this, about 90% of the correspondence we send out (to those who have asked for an appointment, asked us to change an appointment, asked for a follow up appointment, asked for information on our dresses, asked for bridal buying advice) we don't get any reply or response back. 90% !!!

QUICK GLOSSARY

Sample dress - this is the dress you try on at our boutique. We generally have one sample dress in each style which brides try on. Our samples in-store are from size 0 to 20 with the majority a size 12.

Made to order - this means that a dress is made specifically for you and your dress size. It's not made to fit your exact dimensions, just the size that fits closest to your shape. Perfect for brides who have 10+months to their wedding.

Ready to wear - this is a dress which was previously a sample which is sitting in our boutique ready to be bought and taken. Perfect for brides who have imminent wedding dates or smaller budgets.

Alterations/Fitting - this will be required on all dresses ! You will take your dress to a bridal seamstress and they will tailor it to your exact dimensions. This process starts generally 3/4 months before your wedding (time permitting) and finishes when the dress fits you and you are happy. This appointment should be scheduled when you buy your dress.
