10 Hour Charity Improvisation
Friday, 16 June. Come join Drew Hammond and several of his friends from across Scotland in a 10-Hour Charity Improvisation Marathon for the Scottish Association for Mental Health. Drop into the University of Glasgow Concert Hall any time between 9am and 7pm to hear some weird, wild maybe even beautiful music.

Following the death by suicide last year of our friend and colleague, David Code, we at the University of Glasgow have been looking for ways to honour his memory and make a positive contribution to those who work hard aiding people with mental health difficulties. This has led to our first charity
improvisation session in support of the mental health charity, The Scottish Association for Mental Health.

Yesterday we welcomed the amazing Duke University Chapel Choir for a collaborative concert with our brilliant University of Glasgow Chapel Choir and it was STUNNING. Here's a quick clip of the massed singers rehearsing together a piece that Director of Chapel Music Katy Lavinia Cooper wrote (conducting it here). That is over 100 chapel choir singers in one place from opposite sides of the pond! Unique and special moment for us in #internationalcollaboration 🙌🙏👏❤️
