What a way to say goodbye to 2024! 🥂 We had the absolute pleasure of capturing Kim and Nick’s beautiful vow renewal on Hogmanay at the stunning Cameron House Hotel. 💍✨

Their ceremony, led by Ceci, was so special, with their son Quinn right there to celebrate with them. 🫶 This amazing family traveled all the way from Chicago for their big day, and every detail was so personal—Kim even designed her own tartan for the boys’ kilts and stitched it into the petal details of her dress.

Afterward, we snuck in some gorgeous shots around the hotel before they headed off for a night of dancing, delicious food, and an epic fireworks display to ring in the new year. 🎆

Cheers to Kim, Nick, and Quinn for letting us be part of such a magical day!

Hi there!

It’s about time we properly introduced ourselves, don’t you think? We’re Chris and Ewan—nice to finally say hello! We started Top Table back in 2010 when we were working at the same coffee shop chain. By 2014, we were lucky enough to take the leap and make Top Table our full-time gig, and we’ve never looked back since.

A lot’s happened over the years! Ewan got married in 2012, and Chris followed in 2023. We’ve said hello (and goodbye) to some beloved cats, visited loads of amazing countries, bought houses, and gone through way too many cars (some of them real gems, others... not so much).

When we’re not capturing wedding magic, Chris loves chasing the perfect shot through mountain landscapes, always on the hunt for the right light and composition. Ewan? He’s more into soaking up the scenery on two wheels, cruising along on his road bike. We’ve got tons of new adventures planned for 2025—bring it on!

Meeting and working with so many incredible couples over the years has been the best part of this journey. 2024 was a whirlwind, taking us all over Scotland and England, and our passion for capturing weddings has only grown. We can’t wait to see what 2025 (and beyond) has in store.

✨ Shona & Ken tied the knot at Cottiers, and it was every bit as magical as it sounds ✨ This stunning converted church was filled with autumnal blooms 🍂, and in true Shona & Ken style, they threw tradition out the window—getting ready together in the morning and walking hand-in-hand to say their vows. 💍

The ceremony, led by the wonderful Darren Handy, was full of love and laughter (shoutout to Shona’s nephew, the absolute cutest “ring bear(er)” 🐻💍— Credit to Shona for the un-bear-ably good pun.

Afterwards, the dance floor was on fire 🔥 and no one wanted the night to end. Cheers to a lifetime of happiness, Shona & Ken! 🥂

🎃💀 Til Death Do Us Party 💀🎃

Yesterday, Jessica & Douglas threw the ultimate goth-inspired wedding bash at Cottiers, and it was everything you’d hope for in a Halloween-adjacent celebration. 🖤✨ From Jess in her stunning black dress to Doug rocking a burgundy floral suit, these two totally did things their way.

The vibe? Immaculate. Pumpkins everywhere, candles flickering, and an old converted church setting the perfect eerie-yet-magical mood. 🕯️🕸️ As the night went on, the music went hard, and that dancefloor was like the Cathouse in its heyday! 💃🕺

So much love to Jess & Doug for reminding us that true romance has no rules, and weddings can be as unique as the couple themselves. 🖤🖤

🎉 Sarah & Liz said I do in the most chilled, fun-filled day at Number 10 Hotel, surrounded by their closest friends and family! 💖 Their beautiful humanist ceremony was led by the amazing Carol Knight, and everything was on point from start to finish!

💄 Shoutout to Ailsa Doc for the stunning makeup, and Freak Boutique for nailing the hair game! 💅💁‍♀️ Those Little Petals blooms were just perfection too 🌸🌿.

The fun didn’t stop there – they kept us entertained with a roulette table from Mantaray Events 🎲 AND retro arcade machines 🎮🙌.

Oh, and how cool are they for giving out mini bottles of rum as favours from their pals at East Neuk Spirits?! 🥃

And we HAVE to mention the music! 🎶 Sarah & Liz’s playlist was 🔥, setting the vibe all day long, and let’s just say… that dancefloor was lively! 💃🕺

🌟 Naomi & Steven officially said I do on Thursday in the most magical way! 💍✨ They celebrated their love at the stunning Cottiers, a converted church that gave all the romantic, dreamy vibes. 💒❤️

Naomi looked absolutely radiant with hair & makeup done by the super talented Leigh Blainey at the iconic One Devonshire Gardens. 💁‍♀️💄 And can we talk about those autumnal blooms by Celestial Blooms? 🍂🌿 Total floral goals!

The ceremony was so heartfelt, thanks to Lesley Anderson who made it oh-so-personal. 💫 Naomi arrived in the coolest vintage VW camper from Ashveil Weddings, giving us all those retro feels. 🚐💕

Oh, and let’s not forget about the delicious cake from Pudgeys Cakery – just as sweet as the day itself 🍰🥰 and the band, Three Card Trick, kept the dance floor packed all night long! 🎶🕺💃

Naomi & Steven also had one special request: to capture a shot with the Hunter’s full moon 🌕✨, so we made sure to make that magic happen! 🌙📸

Yesterday, Clare & Graeme said “I do” in the most beautiful humanist ceremony led by the amazing Norrie Flowers 🥰, kicking off married life with a day full of love and laughter! 🌿🍂 Surrounded by stunning autumnal blooms from (seriously, those flowers 😍), they danced the night away at , a breathtakingly gorgeous converted church. Huge shoutout to for turning the venue into an absolute fairytale ✨. The energy was unreal thanks to who kept everyone on their feet with a wild ceilidh 💃🕺. And let’s not forget looking flawless thanks to , and Graeme looking sharp in his kilt! 🔥 What a day!
