Woken to frost covering the cars, sprinkled across the garden and rooftops ❄️ my eldest is so excited now. She’s spotted a robin this morning and says this is her favourite time of year “because it’s nearly time to build snowmen and sledge”

Ditching the hair braids on top of my head, the pirate boots are put away, put on a dress and some heels, piled some make up on and brushed my hair for a change to attend the tonight in Glasgow 💃🏻
There’s some outstanding photographers in my category and I already have my bets on who I expect to win (it’s not me!) but thoroughly looking forward to a few hours chilling with other people who get excited about golden hour as much as me and spend their weekends losing lens caps around beautiful venues.
Plus I’m over the moon already and on a high this week as listening to my favourite podcast on the way home and got a cheeky wee mention 😍♥️ so thats my high for this week 🥰.

D I Y W E D D I N G 🍕🍻
Emily - Kate & Daniel had such a clear vision of what they wanted for their wedding.
Fun, relaxed festival vibe with family and friends. Doing things their way and creating their perfect day. The main focus always being their loved ones, friends completed readings during the vows, photos of everyone attending decorated the barn and even mates came from New York to run the bar.
They are currently doing up their dream home, stripped back to stone walls and large barns they had the perfect base to host a party. The ceremony took place on their garden with stunning views over the loch and beautifully decorated with new plants dotted all around. It had been a team effort with all their loved ones helping on the run up to the day. In keeping with personal touches, Emily Kate arrived in her dad’s Land Rover which had been lovingly painted and done up specially.

The barn was the ideal location for a party, after margaritas and pizzas the space transformed into a club with a light up dance floor, an epic DJ and family and friends who where ready to party the night away! Just incase anyone wanted a break from dancing they could see if they could beat each others times on the mechanical bull! Had to fight the urge to drop my cameras and have a go!
Loved everything about this day, from the festival vibe, the food and fun. 🤩 .mcdonnell

Been a bit quiet on here lately but that’s been mainly because iv been away at weddings and have so many lovely days too share.
Starting with .haddock day with their gorgeous children K & L.
These two are such devoted parents with their children taking centre stage throughout the day. K dressed in a mini kilt like his dad had the biggest job of being ring bearer and looked delighted at having such an important role. Not to be upstaged, his little sister L kept the energy going toddling up and down the aisle during vows and making everyone smile.

So many fun details to this day, from guest treasure hunts and Lego trucks to hand drawn art work on each table from the kids.
Loved this day from start to finish, big thanks to my second shooter for all his hard work and banter.

Massive congratulations Mr & Mrs Haddock ♥️♥️.

What a year so far and this is the icing on the cake 🍰.

🥨 The Kitchen Window - Sarah and her team are responsible for running the amazing cafe in our hall. Don't let us tell you how fabulous they are. 🥨BASE Pizza Sometimes all you need is an amazingly well made pizza fresh from the pizza oven. It's what I dream about in the early hours. Blushing at this lovely review from Killearn Village Hall Weddings & Events ☺️. I have a special attachment to Killearn, I grew up here and attended many events at the Killearn Hall including having my 21st here. It’s a gem of a location, with the huge hall available to personalise to your wedding with decor, the natural light pouring in from the large windows and then the view outside looking over Loch Lomond. It’s a beautiful place for a intimate wedding ♥️

Despite a career in modelling Roma says she’s a massive dork in front of the camera and hates having her photo taken. Her goal is to ensure you feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera. Roma has also worked in the bridal industry as a buyer and is a dab hand at dealing with corsets in bridal gowns. So you’re in safe hands if everyone around you forgets how they work!
