Baillies Marquees is a family-run business with a wealth of marquee experience and expertise. We pride ourselves on our dynamic, hardworking, and passionate team, and we’re looking to expand by recruiting the following positions:
• 1 Full-Time / Permanent Team Leader
As a Team Leader, you will be pivotal in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our marquee setups and events. We are looking for an experienced individual who can bring strong leadership skills to our team, ensuring the highest standards of service and safety.
• Marquee rigging experience: Proven track record in marquee rigging, assembly, and dismantling.
• Team management: Previous experience managing a team in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
• Strong communication skills: Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients and team members.
• Enthusiasm and passion: A positive, energetic attitude with a genuine passion for marquee events, while motivating the team to deliver exceptional results.
• Exceptional Customer Service: Lead by example in delivering outstanding service to clients.
• Problem-solving skills: Quick thinking and the ability to resolve unexpected challenges on-site.
• Leadership qualities: Lead by example, inspire others, and ensure the team works cohesively and efficiently.
• Health & safety knowledge: Strong understanding of health and safety regulations specific to marquee and event operations.
• Organisational skills: Ability to plan and coordinate logistics effectively to ensure timely and efficient event ex*****on.
• Driving experience: Full UK driving license with experience in driving vans.
• Physically fit: Comfortable with the physical demands of the job, including lifting and working in varying weather conditions.
• 2 Full-Time / Permanent Marquee Rigger
We're seeking motivated individuals with marquee rigging experience, a full UK driving license, and the ability to work flexibly in a team-focused, fast-paced environment.
• Marquee rigging experience: Previous experience in the installation and dismantling of marquees.
• Driving experience: Full UK driving license with experience driving vans.
• Physical fitness: Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and work in all outdoor conditions.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work weekends and long hours during peak season, with a rotating 5-day schedule.
• Team player: Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm: Energetic and motivated, with a passion for delivering excellent service.
• Customer-focused: A commitment to providing exceptional service to clients and maintaining professional standards.
• Problem-solving abilities: Quick thinking when faced with challenges and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
• Health & safety knowledge: Familiarity with health and safety practices specific to event and marquee rigging.
