This week has been an adventure with Silent Discos at The Record Factory, The Children’s Wood, Greyfriers Care Home, Kelvin College Springburn and Easterhouse Campus. Friday was disco kit deliveries to Phoenix Rising for their beach disco and lots of private hires for parties. Yesterday, hubby and I thought we were going to a garden party in cove but it was the couples surprise wedding. Ooft. It was sensational. Last night was a pals 60th in the bowling club. Ska theme - dancing galore. Crowns at Fumbalinas. Happy Sunday folks. Disco Gill 💕🎧🎶

Kelvin College is such a brilliant place to learn. So many amazing courses on offer, wonderful staff and a very contemporary, bright, modern fresh building and outdoor space. We were there as part of fresher’s week and they have so much to offer. Thanks for having us 🎧🎶💕

Loch Lomond Community Silent Disco. It was lovely to meet so many families out for an afternoon dance in the green space at Tullichewan. “Time for Tully” is the name of the community group. Well done to the Organisers for setting it up and ending the event with a colour powder party 🎧🎶💕

Westfest at the Queen Margaret Drive Festival was an absolute delight yesterday. Dancers, food trucks, rides, live music, entertainers, face painters, circus acts, great line up. Thanks to all that joined in with our Silent Disco and for Westfest for having us.

Rebecca and Nicole danced their hearts out with the residents today at the Silent Disco in Baillieston Care Home. Rebecca says the residents haven’t stopped talking about it since I left. Great to see one of the residents getting out his wheelchair to dance to “American Pie” and so many up dancing. 💃🕺🕺Music is a tonic.

School Silent Discos 2024. Last night we (Disco Gill and DJ Will) hosted an event for the Primary Sevens of Mosshead School in Massimos function room in Bearsden. We had games, singers, fancy dress props, prizes and three channels of tailor made childrens requests. This month our Silent Discos have been in Hillhead Primary school, Corpus Christie, Bearsden Primary, Alexandra Parade, Carntyne Primary, Calderwood Primary, St Leonard’s Primary , Garnetbank Primary, The High School, Hazelwood School and St Cuthberts. This week we are off to Eastpark to host a Silent Disco for the dream team.

Hen Party Silent Disco Parade. Three brides to be from Workouts and the girls from the gym met us for a Silent Disco surprise. We met at Mansfield Park, Partick and dancer Sam from Mlu Sam taught us dance moves and led the way to the Art Galleries. My baby girl , Harley and I had the time of our lives and had sore jaws smiling. Everyone was amazing and we wish Kayleigh, Jen and Hannah all wonderful weddings. Thanks to all that came last night. You made my weekend 💕🎧🎶
