Kevin Lennon and Rosalind Sydney will be starring in The Way, The Truth, and The Life by Mike O'Donnell.

Set in an empty church in the West of Scotland, this family drama directed by Kate Nelson is about the complex and powerful ties of place, family and legacy.

The Way, The Truth, and The Life will be performing 28 May - 2 June for one week only at Òran Mór!

It is with a great sadness that we announce our client Peter Kelly passed away in the early hours of Thursday morning.
Peter became ill in 2022. He was looked after by his dedicated family and visited in his home by many of his friends. He will be hugely missed.
Peter was a legend of Scottish theatre, perhaps best known for portraying Jimmy Boyle, the iconic Hard Man in the premiere of Tom McGrath’s famous play. Yet Peter himself was the most gentle and generous of souls and a dear friend to many actors, directors and writers who worked with him.
He was a true collaborator, an adventurer, and an inspiration to the younger artists he worked with. Peter left home in his teens to head for the bright lights of London where he began performing in theatre, film and television.
It was the beginning of a distinguished career that would span nearly seventy years. He spent time living in Italy before returning to Scotland where he continued to work with companies large and small. He spent ten years touring the world with Vanishing Point’s shows Interiors and Tomorrow and was an Artistic Associate of the company.
He lived and breathed the arts and will be a huge loss to his family and the many friends who hold him so dear to their hearts.

SHŌ AND THE DEMONS OF THE DEEP 🌊

Yesterday we launched our new production for 2024, Shō and the Demons of the Deep, by Zoë Bullock, adapted from the work by Annouchka Gravel Galouchko, and directed by Shilpa T-Hyland, designed by Claire Halleran, supported by Design Assistant Morven Mcleod.

We're delighted to produce this brand new touring show for everyone aged 8 years and over, in association with National Theatre of Scotland.

Courage can come from the smallest of places

Shō and the Demons of the Deep is a visual adventure story about overcoming fear, climate crisis and how the actions of one generation can affect the next. Designed for everyone aged 8+, the show is inspired by the picture book of the same name by Annouchka Gravel Galouchko.

Shō’s city has been plagued by nightmares for as long as she can remember, but hers are the worst of all. One day, Shō has had enough. She throws her nightmares away into the river, where they wash out to sea. Soon people start copying her; the city is rid of its nightmares, and everyone is delighted. But sixty years later, when the river becomes poisoned, Shō’s granddaughter Hana must face her greatest fears in order to save her home.
