My last event of 2024 was a rodeo themed 30th birthday party and what a night it was! It finished at Midnight and could easily have gone on for another 2 hours. Don't you just love those kind of nights?

What was even more pleasing is that the birthday girl was a guest at her friends wedding a year or so before and booked me as she enjoyed the wedding One Devonshire, Hotel du Vin so much 🤩

That brought 2024 to a close and I now look ahead to an exciting 2025.

Well what a day that was! 🤩

It was my first visit to Cairns Farm Estate and hopefully not my last. A stunning venue to match Lauren and Ian's incredible wedding.

During the day we had a version of Bongos bingo after the meal which was such good fun. The star prizes being a giant teddy and a Henry the hoover. We also had words of wisdom cards which I read out and then presented to our Bride and Groom.

The evening reception was something else. We had hit after hit which left everyone a little bit sweaty. My favourite comment of the night was a guest saying they had a complaint. When asked what it was they replied "can you stop playing such good music. My feet need a rest!" 🎶😂

We had a brilliant ceremony from Kyle Cunningham Celebrant Services and I've already had a preview of the outstanding photos from Forza Photography. Amazing 📸📸 It was a pleasure to work again alongside the fabulous Bow & Arrow. Can't wait to see the content you produce! 😍 And last but by no means least... A mention to TM Wedding Films who I've worked alongside on many occasions and I know he's going to have some spectacular footage as always.

The staff from Saltire events at Cairns Farm were absolutely top notch. We were all well looked after.

On a personal note, I left my house at 9.30am and didn't get home until 2.30am. Yes I'm exhausted today 🥵 but I'd do it all again in a heartbeat.

Many Congratulations to Thom and Rachel. It was my pleasure to DJ at your wedding. I hope it was everything you imagined it would be ❤️

It was also the final wedding to take place at Number 10 Hotel this year so was glad to be part of it and what a way to end wedding season for you all. A big thank you to William and all the amazing staff. 👏

p.s. How good was that last song? The staff at number 10 have asked for it to be played after every Wedding. 😂🎉

Last night saw me back at Cottiers for the Glasgow Dental School "Halfway Ball". An amazing night with some banging tunes even if I do say so myself!

My Mum worked in Glasgow Dental Hospital for many years so was proud to DJ at this one for all the students.

Last song of the night was "Living on a prayer". Just had to be with the lyrics "we're halfway there! ". 😂

🎉 As we say goodbye to 2023 and welcome in 2024 I'd like to wish each and every one of you a happy and healthy New Year ahead! 🎶✨

A special mention and THANK You to my incredible couples and their amazing guests for partying like there's no tomorrow and making your own special memories. Whether it was my all day wedding host/DJ or evening only DJ you chose I had a ball and judging by those smiling faces and feedback you all did too. 😍

To those venues who have consistently recommended me as their preferred DJ over the years. I appreciate your support, it means the world to me. Thank You. 🙏

To everyone who has booked me in 2024 or beyond, I can't wait to party with you all!

Last but not least, a shout out to someone I never mention but feel I should... My wife and my 2 children for supporting me over the years in doing something I love. It's not an easy life being a DJ at times with long, unsociable hours and having to deal with my tiredness/grumpiness the following day 😂 but we make it work. Behind every successful person there's someone pushing them to give their all ❤️
