**The Last Christmas Tree at Gowanlea**
In the little town of Johnstone, the Christmas season was always magical. Every year, families would visit Gowanlea nursery and garden centre to pick the perfect tree to decorate their homes. This year, however, something was different. The marquee was nearly empty, and only one tree remained.
His name was Fraser.
Fraser wasn’t like the other trees. He was tall—very tall—standing an impressive 7 feet. His branches were wide, his fir scent fresh, and his needles sparkled like tiny green stars. But there was one thing that made him stand out even more: Fraser was just a little bit too big for most people to take home.
All the other trees had found their families. Some were small enough to fit into cozy flats, while others were perfectly shaped for bigger living rooms. But Fraser? He was a giant, and no one seemed to think they had room for him.
“Who would want such a tall tree?” the other trees whispered.
Fraser stood quietly, looking around at the empty tent, his branches drooping a little. He had been waiting for someone special, but with every passing day, it seemed less likely anyone would come.
Just as Fraser was about to give up hope, a car pulled up. Out came a family—a dad, a mum, and two kids. The children’s eyes lit up when they saw him.
“Look! A giant tree!” the little girl exclaimed.
Her brother, who was holding a Christmas star, gasped. “It’s perfect! Just the right size for our house!”
The parents looked up at Fraser, and the dad scratched his head. “It is a bit big,” he said, but he smiled. “Maybe the house will look great with a tree this tall.”
The family decided to take Fraser home, and as they carefully placed him in their living room, something magical happened. Fraser's towering branches filled the room with a warm glow, and his fir scent filled the air. The children decorated him with sparkling lights, shiny baubles, and a golden star on top. He looked more beautiful than any tree they had ever seen.
That night, as the family gathered around Fraser, they all agreed: Fraser was the best Christmas tree they had ever had. They had found him just in time, and Fraser felt more loved than he ever imagined possible.
And so, Fraser the 7-foot fir Christmas tree wasn’t just the last tree at Gowanlea—he was the first tree that truly brought Christmas magic into the hearts of a family.
