Congratulations to Mandy and Ian. Mr and Mrs McWhirter. I married Mandy and Ian on 21 October 2021. What a wonderful day we had at the amazing Brig O’Doon Hotel in Alloway. It has been a pleasure getting to know Mandy and Ian and I feel privileged to have been a part of their wedding day. Thank you for their kind words. ‘Ian and I would like to thank you so much for delivering our wedding service. From the outset you really understood what we wanted – whilst a formal occasion, we were keen to make it as relaxed as possible. From our first meeting you put Ian and I at ease, offering us lots of wedding traditions and options we could introduce in to our ceremony. The candle lighting and the hand-fasting were just perfect for us – thanks for the education.

From our early conversations you managed to pull out some real gem stories of how Ian and I met and you combined these in to our service. This all helped us have the ceremony we wanted and everyone commented on how relaxed, informal and most of all, enjoyable it was. I would even like to thank you for breaking the news to our gathered family and friends about the song-singing we had planned – but a special thank you for joining in!!

You helped make our day go just the way we wanted it. Thank you so very much for creating memories we will never forget.

Congratulations to Laurie and Greg. Mr and Mrs Barclay. I married Laurie and Greg at the amazing Cornhill Castle, Biggar on 18 October 2021. Laurie and Greg went meant to marry on 31 December 2020 but the pandemic got in the way. However we got there in the end and they had an amazing day surrounded by friends and family. They even had their best man, Marley theIr beautiful and very well behaved Labrador, beside them. And ring security was on hand to make sure the rings were delivered safely.
It’s been a pleasure getting to know Laurie and Greg. They are a lovely couple and I feel honoured to have been a part of their wedding day. Take care and have a wonderful life together. Cornhill Castle
