This cake was to celebrate the retirement of the lady in charge of the Practical Cake Craft course in Scotland......yes there is a cake qualification here!

Anyway I had to make sure it would make the grade so had to include 5 different skills :
Piping
Crimping
Stencilling
Embossing
Use of commercial aids (cutters)

Not often that the same person asks me to make the same cake.

Granted I didn't manage to get good pictures of the first cake but I am pleased with the second one!!

First cake (swipe) was for the baby shower and the second for the naming day once little Lewis was here!!

Some cute little gender reveal/baby shower cupcakes. These have blue and pink icing in the middle and I gave the mum to be a little note of which is which so that she could give the right one to the right person to 'reveal all'!!
