🩷Save the date cards can be sent to your day guests when you have booked your venue and know the details.
They can be made in many different designs and are usually sent 10 months to a year before your wedding day. They allow your guests to plan ahead. 💍💕💌

WEDDING INVITATIONS | 💗Stacy & George 💗
💍Congratulations to Stacy & George who were married yesterday at House for an Art Lover.
They came to see me with the thought of a flower meadow theme for their wedding stationery. Their invitation suite was made in white linen and carried the same theme throughout.
To give that special touch they chose pink wax seals on the envelopes. I do love a wee wax seal!

SAVE THE DATE CARDS | When & why do you send them 💌
I often get asked when should save the date cards be sent. The answer I would suggest would be anything from 9-12 months before your wedding date if you have booked your venue.
Save the dates are normally sent
🩷if you are getting married in the summer months when your guests would normally book holidays.
🩷if you have booked a midweek wedding and your guests would need to book time off work.
🩷if you have planned a destination wedding and your guests would need to plan flights etc.
Simply put they allow your day guests to reserve your date and allow them to plan in advance.
They are not always needed and sometimes timely sent invitations are all that are required.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Invitations are not just for weddings.
💌These invitations were designed and handmade for a special MBE celebration and they were made in Gaelic and English!
I’ve had so many compliments about the invitations that Shauna made for my mum’s MBE celebration. The event is different and I was struggling to find something appropriate to send to people and contacted Shauna through Facebook. Professional in every way and the end product has been complimented by so many recipients it would be unfair of me not to pass that on. Highly recommend this business.

💌When should you order your wedding invitations? This is usually the first question I get asked by my couples. If you order and send out too early there is a chance that details can change like times etc. Order too late and I might not have space to fit you in. As all my stationery is uniquely handcrafted for each couple I would suggest contacting me at least 6 / 8 months, if not more, before you need to send your invitations to book your production space. Design, colours etc can be decided at a later date.
