Hope you all had a lovely time over the festive season, I've just returned from a weekend away up north and now back to the grind!

This ceremony was so personal to the couple and loved how they added so many personal touches. Kerri works for a beer keg company, so the personalised beer kegs at the side of the aisle were just perfect and fit the feel of the ceremony room perfectly. Kerri looked absolutely stunning and Gilbert scrubbed up not too bad either 😉

What a beautiful day this was to be a part of. Tricia and Joe just welcomed a wee baby 4 weeks ago, superwoman or what?! A beautiful ceremony with handfasting, personal vows and to top it off a ring bearer with a difference, Ghost the owl, whose owner is a family friend of Tricia's.

Congratulations to you both on your special day but also your new journey as parents, I'm sure you will boss it!

Sorry I've not posted much lately, wedding season and running around after a toddler has been all consuming lately, but love the madness!

I'm off to the bonnie banks again today to conduct another beautiful ceremony, fingers crossed it is dry for their outdoor ceremony 🤞

My fabulous couple David and Fiona who I had the pleasure of marrying in May. This is why I love what I do, every wedding is special, unique and personal to the couple. Incorporating elements of each family is very important and Fiona and David chose to do this by Incorporating a traditional Chinese tea ceremony followed by handfasting. Just wonderful 😊

2024, what a year! I've had the pleasure of being a part of 34 of your special days as well as baby naming days. Each and every one has been an honour and so special to be a part of. What a laugh we have had along the way creating your perfect days. I never take any of this for granted, thank you from the bottom of my heart for asking me to be a part of your day and trusting me to tell your journeys 🥰 I've also had the opportunity to record a podcast with my fabulous @fuzeceremonies celebrants, what a great day that was! If you haven't had a chance to yet, stick it on Spotify when you're taking down your trees and listen to my dulcet tones 🤣 On a personal note, 2024 saw my baby turn one 😢 watching him grow each day. It has been such an adventure. 2025 is shaping up to be equally as busy looking forward to seeing all my new couples soon! I'll also be attending wedding shows so hope to meet you all soon. Happy Hogmanay everyone, hope 2025 is a belter!

What's one of the best parts of being a Celebrant? Apart from getting to meet so many amazing couples and be a part of their big days, for me, the highlight is always this moment when I get the honour to pronounce you husband and wife/husband/wife.
