So happy to share with you the pro pics from Paige & Colins Autumn Wedding

Aww it was such a beautiful day with a bunch of beautiful people! How gorgeous do they look!?

Paige & Colin opted for a later ceremony time and decided to have their first looks / group pictures pre ceremony which allowed them to go straight into their cocktail hour, dinner then dancing! And oh how they danced!!!! It was a party 🎉🥂such a lovely couple to work with and amazing bridal party, family & friends too!

Thank you .co for sharing the pics - they are beautiful and so lovely to re-live the day seeing them again.

One year ago at Cameron House ....... BTS

The vision for this event was to create a quintessentially Scottish ambiance, celebrating the rich heritage and beauty of the region with decor that reflects the charm and elegance of Scotland.

I was delighted to assist my client with the planning & coordination of their annual Winter Conference. The service I provided included sourcing and liaising with all the suppliers, managing the timeline, checklists and budget as well as creating the all-important (& very detailed) event plan for each day. It was a jam packed time for the 150 guests which included their accommodation, annual meeting, outdoor activities, dinner, dancing with an after party too. 🥳

The stunning wild flowers, stationery and decor were created by 🫶

Aww it was such a lovely day even though we did have nearly 4 seasons in one day but it did not stop the fun, love and celebrations ❤

They had beautiful flowers created by - stunning summer blooms,
amazing food by and drinks by - perfect.

What to include on your Save the Date

Needs: Your names to stand out
You might even want to go as far as picking a different font from the rest of the wording. When printing your names, don’t forget to use your maiden names instead of the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs.

Doesn’t need: Your venue
Whether or not you’ve already selected your venue, don't feel pressured to include it (although of course you can if you choose to!) Just providing a city and state is sufficient.

Needs: The date of your wedding! Obviously! Make sure it has the date of the wedding day on it, and, if you are having a celebration for the weekend, make sure it is clear when the ceremony is.

Needs: Location
As in, what city, state and country your wedding is being held. Part of the reasoning behind sending a save the date so far in advance is so people can make travel plans.

Doesn’t need: Exact times
This early in the wedding-planning stages, there’s no need to have your timeline in place in terms of specifics (like the time of your ceremony and/or reception). The save the date is more for them to secure the day than a specific time.

Needs: Your wedding website
Save the dates should be created once your wedding website is up and running. This way, wedding guests can get to know you a little better as a couple (if they don’t already, of course), and become familiar with the type of wedding you’re planning on having. This is where all of the details of your wedding are going to live, so it's good to send people there as early on as possible.

Doesn’t need: Attire specifics
When thinking about what to include on a save the date, know that it doesn't have to specify the attire for the wedding, this can be added to your website and formal invitation.

Needs: A note that a formal invite will follow
It is also good to have the save the dates addressed to exactly who you want to know about your wedding. Adding & guest or plus 1 will give time to additional parties that would not otherwise receive the save the date.

Hello there 👋 I've see a flurry of new followers (thank you 🤍) & I have been waaaaaay too quiet on socials thanks to wedding season so I thought I'd reintroduce myself

I'm Anna, a fun & friendly, G&T loving yogi & mumma to my gorgeous boy Lewis.

Planning weddings and events is MY thing, I absolutely adore my job, I was made to do this. I am experienced in planning and executing all types of events, but weddings are my speciality.

I like alternate styles and to do things a little differently. If you're looking for help, I'm your gal! I'm super organised, motivated and I always go the extra mile for my clients.

Everyone has been to a wedding at some point in their life, however planning a wedding is a completely different experience than just being a guest. There's so much done behind the scenes and out of view to ensure your day is perfect. It has to be done right first time. If you're not happy, I'm not happy.

I am proud to say I have organised and been involved in over 1000 weddings and events in my career so far. I am so passionate about all things weddings & romance and not to mention that buzz you feel when chatting over the plans, and I thrive on the buzz when plans fall into place, I love it! 🥰

LAST MINUTE HICCUPS......

They happen BUT it is how you react to them that makes the difference. 💡

While I always go out of my way to ensure we have prepared and have a plan A & B (sometimes C!) in order for a seamless experience, it’s important to acknowledge that sometimes unexpected hiccups happen.

With my 20 + years experience and problem solving head on, I’m well-prepared to handle any issues that arise. I'm always armed and ready with my trusty kit box which has everything from sewing kits to superglue, pins to paracetamol, florist wire to confetti and so on (pretty much the full boot of my car!)

My focus is on ensuring that you enjoy your special day, so I’ll be behind the scenes managing everything to keep things running smoothly. You can trust that I’ll handle any challenges that crop up with professionalism and a calm approach. You'll likely be non the wiser if anything has gone wrong as I like to get things sorted without hassling you!

You take the lead in the exciting phases of planning – from booking suppliers and attending dress fittings to indulging in menu tastings – then approximately 6 weeks prior to your special day, I step in to help you finalise your arrangements.

With my expertise and keen attention to detail, I guarantee nothing is overlooked. I will contact all your suppliers in the weeks leading up to the day, confirming final details, set-up logistics and timings. Creating a comprehensive wedding timeline, I work closely with it on the day, addressing any last-minute queries that may arise.

THE BUDGET

Let’s be honest, most people don’t like talking money. It can be awkward and stressful but it is so important that you discuss your budget honestly before you start booking venues and suppliers.

Setting the budget is the first thing I would recommend you do when planning your wedding or event. If you don’t know your budget, then this could cause you to overspend.

The budget determines your guest numbers, venue choice, catering and styling. It’s also really important that you set a realistic budget allowing for any extras or changes that may crop up.

It can be difficult to set (and stick to) a realistic budget, however if you are disciplined and shop around for quotes and suppliers then it can be done. Or I, as your Planner could manage this for you, keeping you in the loop at all times.

I would be able to help you work out the best way to allocate your budget depending on your requirements and what is most important to you for the event. I would also keep track of estimated costs Vs actual costs and regularly update you and provide email reminders when payments are due.

'The answer is yes - now what is your question'

This is a phrase one of the managers at a Hotel I used to work for would say to us in staff meetings - when serving our guests, this should be our mindset 'the answer is yes - now what is the question and do you know it has stuck with me throughout my whole career. It can be a risky one haha but I do like a challenge!

I honestly believe that anything is possible and I always go over above and beyond to ensure I bring my clients vision to life.
