SWISH Services will be at LV once again on Tuesday 4th March 😊

Glastonbury currently has no sexual health provision, so every few months, Lavender Vespers provides a much needed space for people seeking support, advice and information on sexual health related issues and signposting to testing services available in Somerset 💜

ZERO DISCRIMINATION DAY

In 2014 The United Nations declared 1 March 'Zero Discrimination Day' as part of a global campaign to promote equality and highlight the need for individuals and societies to uphold the principle of zero discrimination, which is based on the belief that everyone should be treated equally and with respect, regardless of race, gender, age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion, disability or any other status ✊️

Let’s create a more equitable, just world where everyone can live authentically and freely, fostering a global culture of inclusivity and diversity 🌍💪

Happy Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week! (ASAW) 16-22 February 💚🤍🩶🖤

ASAW was created in 2014 and is dedicated to raising awareness and fostering acceptance of aromantic spectrum identities, as well as celebrating the diverse experiences within the aromantic community. Aromanticism (abbreviated to aro) is a romantic orientation characterised by lack of interest in romantic relationships 💚

Let’s take this opportunity to educate ourselves and others, challenge societal norms around romance, and support those who identify as aromantic within the LGBTQ+ community🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️💪

[Image is of the aromantic flag consisting of five horizontal stripes of dark green, light green, white, gray and black. The text “Aromantic Spectrum Awareness Week” in black, sits at the top. The “Lavender Vespers” logo sits at the bottom right of the image.]
