A bespoke Goddess-blessed or Pagan Wedding Ceremony that will celebrate your love in a unique way, one that is aligned to your spiritual beliefs and your spiritual path. The Wedding Ceremony will be conducted by Sharlea Sparrow, Iona Jone

The Wedding Ceremony in the Temple includes an invocation of Goddess as Lady of Avalon, and of Goddesses and Gods of your own choosing. You will receive individual Blessings of the natural Elements of Air, Fire, Water and Earth, and will speak your personal words of truth, honouring your connection as a couple, your love and your souls. You make your Solemn Vows to each other in this Sacred Temple, in the presence of Divine Beings, and of your family and friends. Here is one of them Wood Spirit Keepers 🌳

We had the joy of conducting their wedding at Samhain 2021.

Paul carves wood by hand to create beautiful bespoke wood pieces, and Karen oversees the business side, working together as a team.

Paul uses fallen wood of many varieties and works closely with the spirit of the wood. Each item is hand polished to bring out the beauty of the wood with beeswax.

Our favourite items that Paul lovingly creates are these beautiful rings. How wonderful to have a wedding ring made from your favourite wood. Light as feathers, comfortable to wear, natural and eco friendly!

We love the ones made from apple tree wood from the Avalon Orchard, on Glastonbury Tor.

As the wheel turns and the earth blooms with vibrant colours, we find ourselves immersed in the enchanting embrace of Beltane. This sacred celebration, steeped in ancient traditions and mystic energies, heralds the arrival of Spring in all its splendour. It is a time of joyous revelry, of honouring the fertile essence of the earth, and of embracing the boundless power of love.

It is a time when the veil between the worlds grows thin, allowing us to glimpse the mystical realms beyond and commune with the spirits of nature..

In the heart of Beltane lies the celebration of love in its purest forms. It is a celebration of romantic love and of all forms of love that permeate our lives.

As we bask in the radiant glow of Beltane, let us open our hearts to the infinite possibilities that love affords us. Let us embrace the beauty of nature as it bursts forth in all its glory, mirroring the blossoming of our souls. Let us come together in celebration, weaving threads of love and joy into the tapestry of our lives.

Welcome to the Glastonbury Goddess Temple Wedding page!

Celebrate your Wedding based on the ancient Pagan roots, plan your Wedding with us! Come and get married within the loving energies of Goddess, in the Heart of Avalon in Glastonbury Goddess Temple, a Sacred Place dedicated to the Lady of Avalon. Here you will have the wedding of your dreams!

What is an Handfasting? Handfasting is an ancient wedding ceremony, dating back to ancient Celtic times. Hand-fasting was, in the simplest of terms, the official wedding of the ancient Celts. The name derives from a strongly symbolic element of the ceremony: the act of binding the hands of the spouses with a ribbon, which ties their union and mutual commitment.

How are our Handfastings structured? As the sacred marriage ceremony, our Handfastings take the couple on a journey around the four elements of Air, Fire, Water, and Earth, as it includes a ritual for each of the elements. For each element, the couple and guests will witness a ritual combination of spoken vows from the couple, ceremonial acts from the Priestess Celebrant and blessings from the couple's guests. This is completely created for our couple, celebrated in love and union here in Avalon. Every Wedding Ceremony is unique as it mirrors the Couples' story and love. It is not only magical to assist in one of our ceremonies, but it is also extremely unique, as we are the first official Pagan establishment in England to be granted a license to conduct heterosexual and same-sex marriages. A bespoke Goddess-blessed or Pagan Wedding Ceremony that will celebrate your love in a unique way, one that is aligned to your spiritual beliefs and your spiritual path.
