The Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza concert will return on Saturday, August 6th, 2022, with a headline performance from Paloma Faith. Tickets are on sale now at https://glas.to/extrav22

Also performing in the Abbey’s historic surroundings will be 13 times European Brass Band Champions, Black D**e Brass Band, with a further Special Guest still to be announced. The event will conclude with the traditional fireworks finale.

Said Michael Eavis: “We’re so pleased to announce that the wonderful Paloma Faith will be headlining the Extravaganza this coming summer on the 6th of August. The evening will begin with the famous Black D**e Brass Band. You may remember their appearance in 2017 which was totally remarkable!”

Tickets are on sale now, costing £40 for adults and £20 for children aged up to 16. Any remaining tickets will cost £45 / £25 on the gate.

As always, overnight options are also available in the campsite nearby, at the foot of the Tor, which is also open for bookings now.

We’re very pleased to announce that our Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza concert will return for its 25th anniversary celebration on Saturday, September 4th, 2021, with a headline performance from Van Morrison.

Also performing in the Abbey's historic surroundings will be The Staves and the Glastonbury Male Voice Choir. The evening will conclude with the traditional fireworks finale.

Said Michael Eavis: “It’s so wonderful to be back together again enjoying this lovely space – especially to the songs of Van Morrison. What could be better?!"

Announcement: Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza

In light of the current unprecedented circumstances - which include the temporary closure of the Glastonbury Abbey - we are sorry to announce that this year's Glastonbury Abbey Extravaganza will not now be able to go ahead.

Tickets for the event had yet to go on sale - and the line-up had not yet been announced - but anyone who had already bought a gift voucher for a 2020 Abbey Extravaganza ticket will be able to roll their voucher over to exchange it for a 2021 Abbey Extravaganza ticket. Those who would prefer a refund will be able to get one via the Abbey once it reopens. Further details will be added to the abbey website soon.

We apologise that the event is not able to take place, but we look forward to welcoming you back to the abbey for next year's Extravaganza.
