For anyone who was attending a funeral tomorrow they have all been CANCELLED in Fife and the Lothians due to the red storm warning. Thankfully mine has been swiftly rescheduled in for Monday to save the family waiting any longer than necessary. 💕

I often hear the statement “oh I don’t know how you can do a funeral service” Truth is I wanted to get a wedding licence to marry people. This was initially proving difficult and the opportunity to join a funeral celebrancy training course with the amazing Lindy Irving came up so I jumped in with both size 9’s at the age of 61. I questioned myself many times wondering if I could do this and I’m so glad I stuck it out. The honour of being the last person on earth to talk about the deceased and celebrate their life is so great I have to pinch myself. To also be able to marry people is beyond what I dreamed of! I almost gave up many times but stuck with it….moral of the story is persevere and it will happen ❤️

Just found out recently that a Lady I knew passed away on the 29th of December. I have known the family for many years and I’m honoured to have been asked to lead the service for their Mum.
