🎄 The Gloucester Gifts of Goodies 🎄

This Christmas, we’re coming together to bring a little sweetness and joy to local residents and charities across Gloucester! We’re launching The Gloucester Gifts of Goodies, and we need your help to make it happen.

We’re inviting local businesses and generous residents to donate small chocolate selection boxes that we’ll collect and distribute to families and charities in need before Christmas. With a little support, we can make sure that more people in our community get to enjoy a festive treat.

We can’t wait to meet everyone and share some behind the scenes of our ideas. It’s going to be a great opportunity to discuss any concerns people may have too and reassure the community that we take feedback seriously.

Please come along and share if you can.

Next Wednesday is the Annual Parish Assembly which is a meeting held for the community to give you all an opportunity to come along and meet your new Town Councillors, have a drink and raise concerns. This year the theme is FIREWORKS! A very controversial subject and this year we have an expert in his field, coming in to speak to us all about what sort of display can be provided and how it will be done. This council has opted to use Apex Events Team for this year's Fireworks Display and we are excited about this new partnership. We also have the CEO from our local county association who will be talking about training opportunities for councillors and staff and the importance of ongoing professional development in our field. So if you're interested then please come along to the Kingsway Sports Pavilion on the 29th May 2024 at 7pm. Everyone is welcome.
