Truly great photography is about letting your subject's personality shine through. It's capturing those magical split-second moments so they can be shared with the world and cherished forever. My role is to capture the essence of what makes you - 'you'. Whether it's a wedding day, birthday, christening or family & pets shoot, your photos will be natural, beautiful, creative but above all else shin

ing with your personality. My name is Phil Loadwick and I am a wedding & events photographer covering The Cotswolds, Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. Over the years I have seen many jaded photographers that have shot the same venue that many times that it becomes a disconnected robotic procedure to them, just ticking off a set routine to churn out yet another generic wedding day set of photos. I vowed never to become like this. My shooting ethos is ‘every person is a unique individual with unique quirks, facial expressions and personality traits’. This means I approach every wedding as it should be, a totally unique day. My sole job is to capture what makes you and your day special, to record the magic of this day for you to treasure for the rest of your lives. As a storytelling photographer, I move quietly around your venues capturing the smiles, tears and laughter that accompany your day. I do my utmost to document every last moment of your wedding day as every photo tells a story. We of course do the traditional group shots but I aim to keep this time to a minimum so that your guests don’t get bored and you have more time to enjoy this amazing day. We later sneak off, usually around sunset, to capture some beautiful romantic shots of just the two of you. I offer an extensive range of packages which can be viewed here:

Absolutely amazing to be back at the stunning Priston Mill for the beautiful wedding of Lexi (.real.lexid ) & Lewis ( ), it was an honour to capture your special day. Your friends and family were all so warm & welcoming and those heartfelt speeches even had me in tears!

A massive shoutout to for planning such an amazing wedding day down to every fine detail and it was also fantastic working with Chloe and the whole team from Priston Mill who kept the day running perfectly.

What an absolute honour it was to shoot the beautiful wedding of Natalie (.marie.xx ) & Sam ( ) at the iconic Cheltenham College! ( ) 💍

The day began with a beautiful ceremony in the stunning Cheltenham College Chapel, a setting that is truly breathtaking. Afterwards, everyone enjoyed a lovely reception in the grand surroundings of Cheltenham College itself. The gorgeous weather allowed for some fun garden games, adding a playful touch to the afternoon. 🏏

The day's elegance was perfectly captured with flawless makeup and hair by Meila ( ) and Poppy ( ) with the bride and bridesmaids looking absolutely stunning. The culinary delights from were simply amazing, leaving everyone raving about the food. The evening's entertainment by Replay had everyone on their feet dancing the night away which was then finished off with a magical sparkler exit, perfectly ending a day filled with love and celebration. ✨

Absolutely amazing to be back at the stunning Matara Centre again for the beautiful wedding of Izzy ( ) & Ollie.

Holly, Wayne and the whole Matara ( ) team kept the day running perfectly allowing everyone to relax and enjoy themselves.

It doesn't get better than drinks reception out on the lawn in the gorgeous sunshine with fantastic jazz music provided by the incredibly talented Vellichor band.

Few things can top a heartfelt ceremony on the lawn, complete with vows that moved everyone in attendance.
