Updates from What's Your Game
Happy Sunday afternoon everyone, thought I would share the ‘work in progress’ layout for What's Your Game LARP kit fair 2025 - this is off to the traders who had stalls last year first (and then with any tweaks to new traders and will become our final layout)
Once we have trader feedback we’ll up date but this basic plan shows how we intend to manage access (but still with some queries left for the site owners and traders)
On the ground floor we have 68 stalls (of which 63 can be reached without any stairs, the last 5 might be possible but the layout is not conducive to a ramp)
it’s a much bigger site than our last one (so more spread out) and we’ll use both entrances to maintain a good flow around.
We’re using the new building ‘visitors centre’ as our main hub, the more modern (in relative terms) Kitchen, Old chapel and C wing, then in the main premises prison just currently the lower levels of A&B wing (see note below) but but any of the cells which will be locked off as some contain mold that is being treated.
Generally it’s a very old site so there is no heating (other than in the visitors centre where there is ‘minimal’ but it’s a more modern building)
Note: once we have all the trader feedback the only remaining capacity is on the first floor (about 15 stalls capacity) this area is only accessible by stairs so we’ll consider that and only offer the accessible stalls first.
