Further to our May AGM - Caroline (Carrie) White has become a Trustee of Chiddingfold Village Hall Charity. Carrie has been our booking clerk for the past year and we are delighted that she has joined us as a trustee.

Other trustees are:

Sue Mitchell
Also joining as a trustee will be:
Peter Little - Parish Council Representative

We thank Steve Salter for continuing to assist when he can with maintenance at the Village Hall. We do need more help at the hall.

The charity is operating with a minimum number of trustees, we do need more trustees and volunteers to help us run the hall. Please contact us if you would like to help.

Chiddingfold Village Hall Charity (Registered Charity No. 305001) is run entirely by volunteers on behalf of the community, the hall is self-funded and receives no funding from the Parish Council or Waverley Borough Council. Please support us in keeping this venue open for the continued use of the residents and village organisations including the Village Nursery School.

🎭📣We have paid £800 to have the GUILDFORD SHAKESPEARE CO perform ROMEO & JULIET live on stage at the village hall on Wednesday 30th October - we have only sold £400 worth of tickets. As a small charity we cannot afford to make a loss and it is a deep shame for the actors to have a small audience. We would love and appreciate it if you could support the Village Hall and Guildford Shakespeare co. Tickets are being sold via the cinema website and will be available on the door from 7pm. https://www.chiddingfoldcinema.com/

Did you know that the village hall is a location for blood donation? Donors are urgently needed especially for O group blood. If you would like to sign up to donate blood: https://www.blood.co.uk/

Donations are being taken at the village hall on 30th July (fully booked), 13th August, 24th December and 31st December.

The Village Hall AGM is at 6.30pm tonight in the Charles Watts room. We will be electing up to 7 trustees and have 5 existing candidates. If you have a few hours to spare each month and would like to help run the Village Hall come down and put yourself forward for election. The Village Hall is an important hub for the village for people of all ages.
