The lovely Jenny & Malcolm tied the knot at their local church yesterday before they and their loved ones jumped on board a bus and headed to us to carry on the celebrations!

From the pumpkin candle holders to the personalised chip spice it really was all kinds of gorgeous and we can't wait to share more! 🎃🏵️🌼

"Where do I honestly start on how amazing Kate and Ed are as the owners of Riverlands. Not to mention Kyler and the rest of the team. We got married at Riverlands on 03.08.2024 and all I can say is what a DAY. A dream I have had since being a little girl come true. Myself and Nick as Mr & Mrs are in such a little love bubble and it is all thanks to the team for making our day run so smooth without you even realising. Kate and Ed welcomed ourselves and our family into their own home to stay for the weekend at The Farmhouse and The Cottage and wow just what a beautiful home it is. The Farmhouse was perfect for our wedding party and the cottage was such a quaint lovely place for myself and my bridesmaids. The full day was everything we ever hoped for and more. Kate and Ed had been so helpful from day dot of us booking them years prior. Just so in love with our day and will be something to cherish for the rest of our lives.
We received so many compliments from our friends and family who came to our special day on how beautiful the venue was from start to finish and the compliments just kept coming. We could not recommend Riverlands enough to anyone looking to get married as this was THE perfect place to enter into a life time of happiness"

Last week we caught up with one of our favourite catering teams to chat all about catering weddings at Riverlands! Here's what they had to say...

Tell us about working with us!

We've been lucky enough to be catering weddings with Riverland for 5 years now. We fell in love with the space on our first visit and continue to enjoy every single wedding we are lucky enough to attend, it's a beautiful space and just an incredible team working there, they all make it feel easy.

What's the most popular menu choice?

With our menu I think couples are often looking for something a little different to traditional and formal catering, so our main course sharing boards are super popular with everyone. Especially the BBQ boards, with a choice of 3 meats plus sides, they're a lovely relaxed wedding breakfast option yet still with all the table service and feel of a wedding!

Why should our couples choose you?

Wedding catering is such a personal choice, we usually appeal to couples who want to put their own spin on their menus and want something relaxed and social for their wedding day. We just take that, pair it with some of the best produce and our friendly team and it just works!

What's your favourite dish?

It's a tough question, I love some of the meats on the mains boards, the brisket is probably our most popular dish, the steaks are amazing (our butcher is just excellent)... however I just love the chocolate and caramel dessert sharing board, the mini choux buns and chocolate delice with honeycomb are ridiculously moreish.

What's your best piece of advice for Riverlands couples?

Follow your gut instinct, make choices that work for you as a couple - and don't make all your choices trying to please everyone. Guests are just happy to be coming to celebrate with you so give them a bit of your own personality in your menu for the day - don't stress and we'll take care of the rest!

2 years on and we are still as in love with these photos as Amie & Richard were on their wedding day (and still are!) ✨

This gorgeous couple tied the knot with us back in 2022, a whole 2 years later than planned and their 4th attempt but with a beautiful new addition to their day, their little girl!

"We cannot recommend RIVERLANDS enough, we used the farmhouse & cottage and it worked perfectly, the staff were incredible! Kayler and the team fitted in like guests, they made sure me and James had EVERYTHING (and more). Our guests loved the venue! Our feet haven't touched the floor yet. What a team, what a venue.
