Unfortunately due to the ongoing water leak that's making the new ramp looking like Howden's very own Niagara Falls, we are having to cancel tomorrow's Community Café. Happy New Year everyone, hope you all had a great festive season and are looking forward to a new year!
I wanted to ask if there is anyone out there who would like to start their own fitness class as we have lost our fitness class leader due to relocation. We have Monday nights available from 6.00pm and Tuesday nights from 7.20pm all in our large Upper Hall, and the best bit is we only charge £17 per hour. If you have a burning desire to start your own fitness club get in touch with either Steve or Liz on 01430 432510

Afternoon all, don't forget next week on Thursday 5th December it's late night shopping in Howden and the Hall, we have over 35 stalls, the community cafe, the bar, a brass band and for all those well behaved children we have Santa's Grotto. A chance to meet the big man before the big day and maybe get a little present! Santa will be ever so busy on the night so you do need to book...it's the modern age!

Morning, hope you all had a splendid weekend despite the weather. Not long to go before we have late night shopping in Howden and we have a bumper night planned in the hall with over 30 stalls of festive goodies, the community cafe will be open, we have the City of Hull Brass Band....well some of them and we have Santa's Grotto. It promises to be a fabulous night so come on down!

We have a banging weekend of music coming up starting on on Friday with The Northern Soul Road Show, with DJ and a live band taking toy back to the halcyon days of Wigan Casino. Then on Saturday we have the amazing Rod Stewart song book, playing all the classics such as Sailing, Maggie May, Da Ya Think I’m Sexy, Some Guys Have All The Luck, Baby Jane, Rhythm Of My Heart, You Wear It Well, Hot Legs and many many more. Not long to go now until we have Howden late night opening on Thursday 5th December 4-8.00pm, hopefully we will all be feeling a bit festive! All of the local retailers will be supporting the event and in the Hall we will have over 30 market stalls, the community café will be open as well as the bar, The City of Hull Brass Band...well part of it, will be making an appearance and Santa's Grotto (ticketed).
