What an exciting three weeks it’s been here at Little Mess Tyrone! 🎉

We wrapped up with NINE amazing messy Christmas sessions across Arvalee School in both the first steps and strule grounds 🥳 It was the perfect way to end the year with festive fun and creativity! 🎄✨

In addition to our school sessions, we celebrated a birthday party and finished up our term classes in Dromore 🎊🎁

We also had three wonderful messy Christmas nursery sessions:
• Rascals Playgroup in Gortin
• Little Flowers Playgroup & Andstraw Playgroup in Sion Mills
• Cloghan Childcare in Donegal
– a perfect way to spread some holiday cheer ❄️🎅

It’s been a whirlwind of joy, mess, and lots of smiles. Huge thanks to everyone who had me come along to provide these sessions for the little ones and to everyone who joined us along the way – you made these last few weeks unforgettable! 🥳

Had a wonderful frosty morning with the little ones at Rascals Community Playgroup in Gortin today! ❄️ We set up outdoors on a sunny but chilly morning, and despite the cold, the fun never stopped. 🤗
Nothing beats the joy of messy play in the fresh air! 🌞

Messy play is not just about getting dirty—it’s a fantastic way for preschoolers to build creativity, fine motor skills, and social connections. Plus, it’s a great way to explore the world around them! 🌎

Jingle, pip and cedar have been getting up to some mischief at some of our school sessions this week ☃️🏂

They had great fun with the children at Little flowers playgroup and Ardstraw community playgroup on Friday 🎅

They also had a splashing good time with the little ones at Arvalee school today 🌊

These cheeky elves are meant to be coming to help with all this cleaning up🧹🧽

We had a fun mix of CBeebies and teddy bear themes! 🧸🎉

Jingle, Pip, and Cedar stopped by to help laminate some festive characters for our Christmas-themed messy play events in some local schools and nurseries! They might just return to join in the fun during the sessions… Who knows, you might even spot them making a mess too! 🎄✨

Today’s Disney-themed messy play class in Dromore was filled with magic, creativity, and lots of fun! ✨

Next week is the final class of our current block, and we’ll be celebrating with a Winter theme! ❄️ Each child will also create a special craft keepsake to decorate and take home. 🎨✨

Messy Play Benefit of the Week: Builds Confidence and Independence! 💪

Messy play encourages children to take charge of their own play, make decisions, and explore at their own pace. By allowing them the freedom to experiment and create without rules, they gain confidence in their abilities and become more independent thinkers. It's all about discovering their own potential in a fun, hands-on way!
