❤️’I’m so happy I’m alive, happy I’m alive at the same time as you’⚡️

I’ve always loved that Coldplay lyric (scored tix to see them today) cos I’m such a soppy auld git!

On the screen at the moment and had some tunes on, and thought that lyric fitted Suzanna and Robert very well in this pic- I mean just how happy and beautiful do they look here?

Had a bit of a mare last two weeks with my computer having issues, back at it now- anyone waiting on photos won’t be long and it’ll be worth it ❤️

‘It was love, at first sight’ ❤️

So, happy one week (and a day) anniversary to Laura, Jonathan and wee Rosie, aka The Murdochs- who were married last Saturday in the always amazing , where they literally stopped the traffic in the evening with how good they look 😘

I’ve known Laura for a good while now and was so delighted to be asked to photograph her wedding, and when I got to know Jonathan (who is a good Greenock Morton man like me💙) and then wee Rosie, I couldn’t wait for the big day.

After what seemed like weeks of horrendous rain, Greenock finally decided to give us a beautiful day for everyone- and what a day it was. Amazing from prep to a pretty epic first dance to Kylie Minogue, we had such a blast and I loved every second of it. Morton even won a game for Jonathan💙

Also- amazing to see so many former couples there- hugs a plenty for auld Muzza which was so nice!

Huge thanks to everyone for making Lawrence and I so welcome on the day- we had the best time, and to Bethany and Shauna for another great day and looking after us all. What a team!

Today’s the day for the wedding of the most beautiful family and wee Rosie is right up for seeing her Mummy and Daddy get hitched!

Laura and Jonathan’s wedding at the is gonna be a belter, can’t wait to see everyone later!

We met up earlier this week for a chat and as you can see, a certain Miss Rosie stole the show- although I’m pretty certain she will have competition from Laura today- who will be stunning.

I’m sure Dad will look the business too eh Jonathan? 💙

Today is also gallery delivery day for the amazing Jen and Jay, ANOTHER couple I absolutely loved from the minute we made contact, and their day was incredible- is one of my fave venues and their modern take on a very classic wedding was just the business. Great to work with again too ❤️

Jen’s dress reveal to her parents and friends is so full of emotion and some of my fave photos I’ve ever taken ❤️

What a day we had- and again, more to follow but for now, Mr and Mrs Wray- to the emails you go!

Thursday saw me back down at the brilliant for the amazing wedding of Billie and Jordan.

I know I bang on a lot about how amazing my couples are, and I’m gonna do it again here. Two of the loveliest people you’ll ever meet, and their families and friends also. Billie first got in contact with me two years ago, after being referred by one of my fav couples and now good friends, Stephen and Carly (amazing to see them also)

Since then Billie is always first to comment on any posts on Instagram, or socials and we’ve chatted a lot- so it was unreal to finally get to see her and Jordan tie the knot in such a beautiful and very, very emotional day, they’re just made for each other and honestly I couldn’t be happier for them.

Loads more to follow from this one but I’m so busy with editing, work and general Dadlife- so here we go!

Tomorrow is fast approaching and in 24 hours we’ll all be at for the wedding of Billie and Jordan

Feel like I’ve known Billie for ages, after booking me 2 years ago we’ve chatted so much online and finally met up at the weekend in person, her and Jordan came to Sunny Gourock and we had a good blether and then went for some photos

Light was amazing, and these two- what can I say, such a great couple, and I can’t wait until tomorrow to shoot their big day!

What a busy weekend, and now that I think about it- the whole of July, which has went past in a blur!

Thursday saw me photograph my last wedding of July, and what a day it was for Suzanna and Robert, down at the always beautiful

The weather was mental- crazy rain, then clear, and I thought we ‘might’ get a sunset, and so it proved- some gorgeous light, allowing me to get these lovely pair back out for some photos after the first dance.

One week ago, around this time- I got absolutely covered in confetti during one of the best confetti runs I’ve ever seen.

When couples ask me about doing these I tell them to get as much as possible, you can never have too much, and when lining up the guests, I tell everyone to absolutely blast the couple with it as we walk past!

Huge happy one week anniversary to Victoria and Jamie, who were married this time last week at the Lynnhurst in Johnstone.

Such a brilliant day for such a great couple, and one I’ve got connections with- Jamie is a fellow firefighter and Victoria’s beautiful Mum Jeanette is such a close friend and very loved by everyone in the fire service so the whole day was very special to me- loved it

Gallery delivery day for Natalie, Grant & wee Kian- aka The Murphys ❤️

We had a brilliant day with these guys- such a beautiful family and cracking folk.

Tons of photos to follow on here but I’m in full editing mode ahead of my holidays so just the one for now, and a little different!

When I’m photographing a wedding, I’m always looking for wee moments happening, sometimes they do- sometimes they don’t- but all the wedding planning in the world sometimes just goes out the window when something like this happens 😂

Natalie and Grant had just got married in a magic ceremony by the brilliant , and wee Kian- who obviously had his fill of the wedding chat, promptly fell fast asleep in the middle of the aisle 😂

Mum and Dad had to just walk over the top of Kian to leave the ceremony ❤️

A classic moment, and one for the wee man to see when he’s older- I absolutely love it.

Shot with which allowed me to get down low and wide to get the shot.

Huge congratulations to James and Laura, who were married yesterday in a pure belter of a day at

Top ceremony from the brilliant , with so many laughs and emotions from all- such a great bunch of people to be around

As always, Beverly, Jim and the team at Seamill have the day ran like clockwork, and everything was perfect- little windy day but James and Laura were up for a beach walk to get some photos with me

I’ve known James since we were kids- and to be asked to photograph yer pal’s wedding is such an honour and it was such a brilliant day.

Today’s the big day for this wee amazing team, Sarah, Conor and their beautiful wee girl Loah as we all get ready for a brilliant day for their waddin.

Today’s the day for my friends Kirsty and Gary, as they tie the old knot at in Greenock.

I’d met up with them, and their wee dog Coco in Gourock, and after a chat we headed off to the stunning Cloch Lighthouse, just 5 mins from where we live.

One week ago, exactly.

Kellie and her pals and family were all but ready, and for once we had a little downtime before the big moment- heading down to see Alan and getting married 😍

I had a little idea for a photo that I’d been thinking of all morning and saw my chance.

Asked Kellie to sit down, take a wee moment and allow me a couple of minutes to do what I do.

Grabbed the amazing Leica Q3 (more on this later) and used the gorgeous 28mm lens to capture Kellie in her final minutes before she became Mrs Thomson.

I love this photo, I love everything about it- tells a story with Kellie contemplating on one half of the frame, before she goes to be with Alan. I love the camera I took it with, and can’t wait to use it more at weddings.

Sometimes I have to pinch myself that I get to photograph weddings, moments in people’s lives- this weekend I’ve had two amazing, amazing weddings and I can’t wait to share the photos, but at Laura and Paddy’s wedding at @boturichcastlevenue, THIS happened.
