Non wedding post- just a day out with my team.

Took some photos.

Had a laugh yesterday when it turns out that another photographer is copying and pasting my words/thoughts from my wedding posts on here and using them for their own social media.

Kinda like an AI Muzza- now maybe that’s an idea I should have eh, might make me some dosh?

Anyways I’m too nice a guy to post screenshots of it, I suppose I should be flattered someone actually likes my s**t patter 😂

Valentines’ Day 2025 saw me photograph my first wedding of 2025, and what a belter it was.

A very romantic date obviously, but what I saw was more than just the love of two people getting married, but more the amount of love in the room for the amazing Cheryl and Graeme.

They chose to get married in a small, beautiful intimate ceremony at the wonderful , involving everyone in the room- their beautiful kids, all their closest family and friends- everyone was a part of it and it was perfect.

I had such a blast- and getting invited to sit with the party for the wedding meal was unexpected, but so lovely and just typical of Cheryl and Graeme, who are two of the nicest people you could ever meet. Seeing how they are with their kids, and how strong a wee unit of a family they are was such a privilege.

You can tell I loved it eh? I’m an auld romantic family man and this was right up my lane, and Ashton Lane where we ventured for some photos later.

Enough waffle, I’ll let the photos tell the story.

Wedding Season 2025 begins and on none other than Valentines Day, as I make the trip to Glasgow and the beautiful for the wedding of Cheryl and Graeme

Known Graeme a while now, like me in the 🚒 and I was delighted when he and Cheryl asked me to photograph their day with the closest family and friends.

We met up a couple of weeks back, and little Corey stole the show- looking forward to meeting up with the rest of their team very soon- gonna be a magic day ❤️

Looking at my grid at the moment, and realising it’s all been portraits of beautiful couples- I love doing that, but I also love trying to get little moments during weddings.

Things that the couples will have missed due to being lost in the moment, but also things that people don’t know I’m photographing, or likely documenting is a better word for it.

Suzanna’s Dad, Craig- lost in the moment looking at his little girl, all married and having her first dance. I love this photo.

As a dad to two girls, I always think about stuff like this and imagine if I’ll ever be there in that moment- we shall see eh?

Also in the middle of a website rebuild- so it’s nice to look back at all of the weddings and pick out my favourite moments like this one.

And aye, I’m an auld romantic. Proud of it.

So tonight is gallery delivery night for Kayleigh and Kyle ❤️

Such a magic couple who I absolutely loved hanging out with at their super cool, intimate wedding at just before Xmas.

Tons more to follow on this one but I know they’re out for a wee teatime beer at the mo, and will be home to see all the amazing moments from the day soon 🍺🍻🍺

It’s a little windy out eh?

Wasn’t AS windy when I was photographing Kayleigh and Kyle’s wedding, but as you’ll see here it doesn’t always go to plan, although Kayleigh looks stunning in both pics- so beautiful ❤️

It’s Blue Monday apparently.

Not on my grid it’s not, cos Heather and Stewart’s amazing wedding dropped into their inboxes yesterday and is making its way onto here today 💙

There’s a bit of blue, as Stewart and boys had some photos taken at our mutually beloved Cappielow Park, home of the Mighty Greenock Morton 💙⚽️💙, who even got a result later that evening for Stewart (news of the goal broke on the dancefloor)

Anyways, what a day with such brilliant people- so many laughs, smiles and tons of emotion, a hilarious best man’s speech, and the two of them- who are both such cool human beings. Loved it!

Hopefully the photos tell the story 💙

First week back at work for most, for me I’ve just knocked off for annual leave 🚒

Plans are to get the two weddings I’ve still to deliver done, both almost ready to go, redo my website, shoot a wedding, and get some time for me as well- looking forward to 2025.

Back at it- and editing away and almost finished the brilliant wedding of Heather and Stewart, at the always great hotel in Johnstone.

So many cracking moments from this one, especially the ceremony from - what a laugh we had all day.

So, last wedding of 2024 and an absolute joy to photograph such a special, intimate day for Kayleigh and Kyle at Old Kilmun House in Dunoon

Even the ferries getting cancelled on the way home, and having to drive a s**tload of miles to get back, couldn’t take the shine off the brilliant day I’ve had. The nicest folk, AGAIN!

What a bonus too to work with my auld pal Lee of again- a legend of a man ❤️

More to follow but I’m away to the Panto as I’ve made it back in time- OH yes I have!

So, the last pre wedding shoot of a very busy 2024- and tomorrow sees me jumping on the ferry for the short journey to Dunoon for my last wedding of the year as Kayleigh and Kyle get hitched at a new venue for me,

We met up at the weekend- and due to how busy we all are at this time of year, we had 15 mins to chat through the wedding, and then get some photos, so I had to work quick ⌛️

Think we did ok 😍

I met Kayleigh earlier this year when she was part of .chamby ‘s bridal party- we got on really well and by the end of the wedding we had it all sorted out ❤️

Happy Friday!

It’s a beautiful day here in Gourock, very crisp and cold, and it was also a beautiful day, if a little warmer, a little while back when Laura and Jonathan tied the knot at the wonderful

Delivering thjs one very soon to the Murdochs!

Laura though- she knocked everyone’s socks off when she made her entrance and just looked stunning as we all knew she would. This photo taken on top of our own Lyle Hill, looking across the Clyde to the Argyll Hills and beyond.
