I officiated a wedding today for a lovely couple The wedding was on 31st October yes Halloween. The wedding itself was beautiful and just right for the couple. There was a few spooky touches, colour scheme was black and purple. They had the Handfasting ritual and the jumping over the broom before they returned down the aisle. It was very special and well thought out including a small coffin to carry the rings in.I love the photo of the couple laughing, so much love fir each other having a relaxed, fun wedding ceremony. Congratulations to the couple, wishing the couple a happy long life together. Photos by permission of the couple.

Visiting a few venues in the Woodhall Spa area for some weddings I have booked. I like to visit the venues introduce myself and view the wedding ceremony room, it's the contact face to face which is important and good for future bookings.
Beautiful venues very different Abbey Farm Kirkstead near Woodhall Spa, and Tattershall Castle National Trust (one of the locations national trust have as a Wedding venue.)
Followed by a working lunch with my colleague Diane at another Wedding Venue Petwood Hotel Woodhall Spa.

Wow! I carried out my first Wedding Ceremony yesterday. And it was a great achievement I only had 2 weeks to plan the ceremony! Met the couple once on facetime, then a couple of emails, loved every minute. It was a very relaxed wedding in a pub garden just right for the couple. Some photos of the ceremony (permission given by the couple). Looking forward to my next weddings that I have booked. Also the couple chose a Handfasting ritual which included their chosen colours of ribbon and a special touch I added a part of a Paua shell from New Zealand where the couple live and the bride grew up there.

I have been approached several times with regards to my celebration of life services, where I have performed Eulogies and candle ceremonies for a family's loved one. Of course I said "yes."
It is a privilege and an honour to be able to help a family to have closure at this very sad time, to celebrate their loved ones life with sadness and joy and share those special memories with each other.

Valentines day! Love is in the air and what better way for you loved up couples to visit this free event on Sunday 18th February. I will be there come and have a chat about your dream wedding ceremony.

Just getting ready for my first wedding fair on the 1st October.Thought I'd share with you one of the rituals that I can include in your ceremony. So this is a Sand Ceremony, it's when the couple want to show a sign of their bond and love together uniting both their families. A glass heart bottle is filled with sand in front of their friends and family, usually the sand is from their favourite beach.If children are involved they may want to add a different coloured sand. At this moment I would read a poem or music would be played of the couples choice. A memorable keepsake for the couples special wedding ceremony.

A visit to Irnham Hall this morning,what a beautiful place such lovely friendly people .A perfect place for your bespoke wedding ceremony, in the grounds or in the wedding hall.Then your wedding breakfast will be in the glorious Summer House. I would love to do your beautiful ceremony in such perfect surroundings.
