Wedding #2 of the weekend. This one is just so beautifully simple. I absolutely love the stencilling on the middle tier. Very subtle, but absolutely gorgeous!

Four layers of cake in each tier. Red velvet for the top, chocolate marble for the middle and luscious lemon for the bottom 💖

After meeting the bestest greeter/helper yesterday, I thought I should share photos of the wonderful cake that I set up for my best friend's niece's wedding. A vegan, 2 tier wedding cake with 6 layers of vegan salted caramel for the top tier and four layers of vegan Biscoff cake for the bottom tier. All decorated with pastel yellow fondant, personalised Swizzels Love Hearts and vegan cakesicles. A sneaky little Vivi dog peeking out from under the cake!

The top tier was coloured inside for a gender reveal. 🩷💙

I put an extra little personalised touch to a couple of packets of Love Hearts with my calligraphy.

A wonderful cake idea for a special birthday of a special lady who loves gardening! An edible water can pouring flowers onto a lemon cake filled with lemon buttercream and fresh chopped strawberries and covered in a white chocolate ganache. Yum! The watering can was made from Rice Krispie treat and lemon cake.

Happy 80th Birthday to the very lucky recipient of this cake!

Not one, not two or three, but four birthdays celebrated this weekend!

A 6" chocolate cake for Karishma's 21st birthday with a gold sparkly cake charm and '21' from Cayke and flowers from Floralsilk .

A 6" heart shaped lemon and elderflower cake covered in The SUGAR PASTE fondant and ruffles for Disha for not only her birthday, but also a congratulations on becoming an opthalmologist.

And a 6" vegan red velvet cake as a joint husband and wife birthday cake with handmade figures of the couple on top of the cake, a mini Ferrari for Shyam (couldn't quite manage a real one.... ;) ) and an x-ray of a hand for Kriti who is going to be an orthopedic surgeon.

All displayed on my swan neck cake stand. Perfect for when you want a three tier cake without having a tiered cake!

I hope you enjoyed the celebrations! The weather was perfect for it 🥰

Something a little different over the weekend. A trio of vegan desserts for a birthday shindig 💖 Eton Mess, Chocolate Torte and Lemon Cheesecake. I'm not going to lie, when I first made the vegan meringues, I LITERALLY danced round the kitchen when they turned out fluffy and meringue like. 🤩

One of my favourite things about cake making is the small, finer details. Especially on this cake. A miniature Singer sewing machine, teeny tiny cotton reels that even fit onto the reel holder, the smallest of small scissors and a sparkly quilt that's mid progress.. All for a lady who loves sewing. All handmade from sugarpaste. The only thing inedible were the 'pins' in the pin cushion.

It's time for tee...

I had an absolute blast making this Vice golf ball for Henri's 10th birthday today. Henri is an avid golfer and Vice balls are his ball of choice. Recreating the pattern on this cake was great fun! Jackson Po***ck, eat your heart out! 🖌️🎨

Made with a rice Krispie treat base and a vanilla sponge cake filled with vanilla buttercream and strawberry jam. Covered in The SUGAR PASTE fondant with freehand hand writing.

I had the pleasure of creating this adorable cake for a family get together this weekend. When the mum to be had been (sneakily) asked, if she could have a cake, what flavour would it be. Kinder Bueno was the reply! 4 layers of chocolate cake filled with hazelnut buttercream, chocolate ganache and a wee bit of crushed Bueno's too!

Every cake I make is always special. And none so much as this one.

I've been making cakes for the family for a few years now, so to be asked to make a cake for the funeral felt such a privilege.

A Memory cake for the family to remember a very special lady. A wife, mum, a granny. Details that were very much 'her'. Her love of the piano, the music for her wedding dance (Ni**od) and her love of art were just a few included in the design.

❤️ It's hard to forget someone who gave you so much to remember ❤️
