My Journey
It all began for me, as it does for so many wedding planners, when I organised my own big day. It was so important for me get married in Italy, not only because it is the country of my birth but also because I imagined that there could be nothing better than a celebration of our special day with family and friends set within the romance of the Italian countryside. Wonderful food and plentiful local wines come as standard, the sun is (almost!) guaranteed and superb service from local staff is part of the Italian culture and makes for a wonderful, calm day.
Our budget was pretty tight, and with a practical hat on, weddings in Italy are significantly cheaper than in the UK without compromising on any of the ingredients that make the day special.
I’ve always had the drive to organise, I plan holidays to the last detail, and am always the person who is asked to plan a get together or organise an event. I have worked in hospitality for many years, and have an ingrained passion for food and wine, especially that of my own country! After navigating several jobs in restaurant management and corporate hospitality, I eventually arrived at a beautiful hotel in the English countryside where I discovered my true passion as a wedding and event planner. From there I have decided to embark on this solo adventure, and I am extremely excited to share it with all of you!
My goal is to give you and your guests the very best of Italy: farms growing entirely organic produce, vineyards producing wine from century old vines and family run Agriturismi who exclusively use pure, unprocessed native products which then goes to support small Italian businesses.
