Weddings now are very different to the 'olden days', couples may be from different religious backgrounds, they may have no religion, they may be looking to acknowledge each partners family traditions - there are so many options that it can be... tricky.... but not when you book an Independent Celebrant.

It is my job to ensure you have the most special day incorporating ALL the things that YOU want!

Whether you want to fuse together two religious backgrounds, incorporate rituals or have your pets walking down the aisle with you I will help you create the perfect ceremony.

Today I have the pleasure of conducting a Naming Ceremony for little Thea and Jackson which will include all the colours of the rainbow in their sand jar keepsakes.

Parents, guideparents, grandparents and siblings will all choose a colour which will create a totally unique combination that can never be divided representing the unbreakable love and commitment they offer Thea and Jackson.

What a wonderful celebration for the whole family!

A few weeks ago I had the absolute honour of conducting the gorgeous Sim & Matt's wedding ceremony.
It was such a special day filled with love, laughter and fantastic music provided by The West End Gospel Choir at stunning Gaynes Park in Essex.
What was so perfect about this ceremony was the ability to be able fuse together all the things Sim and Matt wanted. It was important that it was personal and about them and their gorgeous girls but also incorporated jewish traditions and was respectful in the delivery of these things.
Everyone had such an amazing time and I wish Sim and Matt many happy years together!!

Such a brilliant time of year with all the christmas and new year engagements!! January is going to be crazy dealing with enquiries from more couples looking to do their wedding their way!

Being a Best Man is a big responsibility! Keeping the Groom calm, on time and ensuring he doesn't have one drink too many!!

As well as this the Best Man has the huge responsibility of keeping the Wedding Rings safe!!

According to some interpretations of the Chinese zodiac the rabbit is the luckiest of all 12 animals!

This is excellent news for couples getting married this year!

Luck is so important to love and marriage.

We feel so lucky to have found 'The One' and so lucky when we book in the perfect venue and find the perfect dress and all the other little details that become part of the BIG DAY!!

On the last day of the year I have to throwback to one of my favourite ceremonies of the year.

My brother's wedding.

It was a total honour and privilege to be able to conduct my brothers wedding at the gorgeous Arundel Town Hall.

An intimate wedding that was really personal and full of love and laughter just as the bride and groom wanted.

With drinks on the roof terrace and views of the castle the sun shone on a perfect day!

It was a pleasure to help my brother and his wife create a bespoke ceremony that incorporated everything they wanted.

I can't wait to share with you some next years array of ceremonies ❤️.

Going into a New Year without one of our loved ones can lead to a horrendous range of emotions.

The festive season is a difficult one for many. It can reignite feelings of grief for a loved one gone some time ago and intensify a more recent loss.

As a Celebrant I provide support through the funeral process to assist you in completing this final task, fulfilling the wishes of you and your loved one to the fullest.

But a funeral is only the very beginning of the grieving process and as a member of we work closely with which is a free confidential service to support you on the road ahead.

My DM's are always open for more information and I hope all those struggling with Christmas this year reach out to those around them for all the love and support they can handle ❤️
