If you were lucky enough to receive some beautiful flowers at the weekend now is the time to re cut the stems and give them some fresh water.
Flower Care Tipsπ
πAlways use a clean vase. Choose the correct size for the amount of stems you have.
πUse fresh tap water.
πAdd the flower food supplied.
πRemove any leaves below the water level, this stops any bacteria in the water.
πMake a sharp diagonal cut to your stems, about 2cm off them.
πAvoid placing near fruit.
πAvoid direct sunlight and radiators.
π Replace with fresh water and cut every few days.
πDelicate and soft stemmed flowers like roses and freesias have less lifespan than hardy stemmed carnations and chrysanthemums, remove them gradually so it makes your flowers look their best for longer.
πEnjoy them.
