Today is the shortest day which means slowly our days will be getting longer.
I have sown lots of seeds in preparation for next year and they are all tucked away in the greenhouse.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank each and everyone for your support this year. I wish you and yours a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year - Nat x

Hi hope you’re all keeping well. Just a quick update to say next years flowers are well underway. The temperatures are due to drop so I have decided to plant my tulips this weekend. It’s best to plant them when the soil temperatures are lower as they can be prone to tulip fire. I keep the sweet peas outside as this helps them grow into to very strong healthy plants. They are however not a fan of easterly winds so will pop them in the greenhouse when this occurs. As you can see I will have lots to keep me busy over the winter! I also have mounds of clearing and tidying at the plot!! Thanks

Love this time of year and starting off the ranunculus - will be the sweet peas and anemones tomorrow

Morning, sadly a lot of my flowers got nipped by a frost last weekend so I believe this will be the last jam jar of the season. I may post the odd one as available but would not want to let anyone down with an order. I am already thinking about next season and lots of the plants are all growing away nicely. I have ordered some beautiful ranunculus and anemones as well as tulips and heirloom narcissi so will have more beautiful flowers in the spring. Thank you to each and everyone of you for the support it means so much - I am already excited for the next season x

Nice to be back picking the flowers, I have been on holiday and the dahlias have suffered for it - I have given them a big dead head and I am hopeful with the warmer weather new flowers will follow shortly!
