Hello👋 We’ve had quite a few new followers recently so I thought I’d introduce myself to you all!

My name is Tara and I run Chisel & Twine. I am a 27 year old mum to my crazy two year old son Knox who I have with my fiancé Jack, who helps out as my unpaid assistant of cutting and packing (he loves it really😅), and we have our beagle Finley who you will probably see on my stories from time to time!

We’ve been open for over a year now and I absolutely love what we’ve made here! I love creating and packing up orders for all my lovely customers. 2025 should bring lots of newness for us. We have a new laser engraver, loads of new product ideas and a new look on our social media channels (that means me showing my face a bit more, which in all honesty terrifies me😂 but I hope it will help our shop feel a bit more connectable for you guys)
I’m also hoping to get back into the wedding industry this year too, so we will have more table decor and stationary designs coming in the near future!

We run out of our home in Great Harwood, a lovely little town in Lancashire thriving with lots of amazing small businesses on our high street like (where I work as my *real* job), and to name a few!

Supporting small businesses like ours really does make a huge difference. Any orders we get go towards days out with our son or towards renovating our home so we can finally move to somewhere bigger!

WE’RE REBRANDING!

I’ve been wanting to change our name for a while now and have finally settled on Chisel & Twine, which was the first name we came up with!

I’ve felt like The Crafty Corner just wasn’t doing it for me anymore; it felt really generic, didn’t really showcase what we do here and it certainly didn’t help us stand out amongst the hundreds of other crafters out there!

Chisel & Twine feels more professional, it tells a story of what we do and what are products are (mostly wood!) and our logo stands out! It’s classy and muted and I’m in love with it!

I just want to say a big thank you to all my customers, I was planning on closing down after Christmas but you kept me so busy with orders that I decided on a rebrand instead.

An extra special thank you to my fiancé Jack who is the one who pushed me to keep going and is my biggest supporter, and also an excellent assistant. He bought me a new and much improved laser engraver this Christmas. It’s taking me a while to get the hang of it as it’s much more complex than my old one. But once I perfect it, we should be able to provide so many more amazing and better quality products!

I hope you all love the new brand as much as I do and I can’t wait to see what 2025 has in store for us.

We just want to say a HUGE thank you to anyone who has bought something from us, liked, shared or commented on a post on our socials. Came to see us at a pop up or just supported us from the sidelines.

It means so much to me and I hope that 2025 brings you all the happiness you deserve.

We have some big changes coming next year. I have a new laser engraver which is much more powerful than my old one! (Thank you to my fiancé for a wonderful Christmas gift❤️) I am still learning how to use it as it’s a lot more complex, but once it’s up and running we will be able to provide lots of new products!

We will also be rebranding in the new year! I’ve been feeling like The Crafty Corner is just a bit bland and doesn’t really stand out for a while now. I want the name to reflect what we do and want to be proud of it. I haven’t finalised on a name yet but this will hopefully be coming before the end of January.

Me and my son went to Birkacre garden centre in Chorley last week and I can’t recommend it enough! Pretty much the whole thing is christmassy🎄

I’m trying to fit in as many festive garden centres as possible in the lead up to Christmas and this is BY FAR the best one so far, lots for little ones too x
