The Little Red Bus - Chauffeur driven VW hire & unique photo booth Welcome to The Little Red Bus - our 1971 Volkswagen Bus we affectionately call Rory.

Rory started life as an East German fire crew bus before working his way over to Poland at some point in the late 80s/90s. After years of working on various old VWs we imported Rory in 2005, with no interior and a more than slightly suspect engine we set to work getting him up and running for a European road trip the following summer. The trip was a success (apart from a few little issues) and we

enjoyed many a trip out in him over the following years including using him for our own wedding in 2010. By 2012 he was starting to show his age after many days down on the beach so we took him off the road. As with most of these stories, what we thought would be a few small jobs turned into a full restoration and with the exception of the paintwork and seat trimming all of the work has been carried out by Adrian. Rory is also now sporting a Subaru engine for a little added reliability and comfort. We thought he was too nice to keep to ourselves so he is now available for you to hire for your wedding, party or event!

Happy anniversary to Helen & Rev.Mark who had the most beautiful intimate, micro wedding ceremony at St Michael’s All Angels Church in Bude. Then went on to Underpine Woods for their magical woodland wedding feast! all planned by Peony & Lace Weddings They had the most magical wedding day! It was so incredible and the weather didn’t even phase us! A fabulous walk up to compass point before the rain came (where Mark proposed to Helen!) Such an incredible day to become husband and wife. Many happy memories ❤️ We wish you both all the love in the world! xx Laura & Adrian xx

What a perfect day! (Part 1)
Sam & Charlotte are surrounded by love and it was a pleasure to have my little family be a part of their wedding day at immensely beautiful & fun at The Old Barn in the glorious late summer sunshine! I know it was an emotional day too. Sam, your dad was shining down on you! Charlotte you looked incredible! Our little trip to the Hobby Drive at Clovelly, was just so perfect too. Re-living where Sam proposed!

Your plans for having the best day ever just shone through! It’s easy to see why your families and friends have so much adoration for you, the tears, joy, laughter and fun we had all day long! Sam & Charlotte, I genuinely cannot tell you how much fun I had with you all on the dodgems with Luke driving me and my camera backwards!! Thank you for letting me capture your wedding memories and for letting Adrian & Ethan (my hubby and son) transport In RORY you to your ceremony from the beautiful Hartland Quay. Elinor & Tim’s perfect day is now featured in County Wedding Magazines Your Devon & Cornwall Wedding ✨🌿
It was 3rd time lucky in the planning and they FINALLY made it!!! What a roller-coaster journey they went on and the whole situation over Covid. Elinor & Tim really deserved the best day of their lives! Having worked throughout lockdowns and all of the stress that being a GP brings …Elinor & Tim’s gorgeous wedding day at River Cottage did not disappoint with the most beautiful ceremony in the cottage garden, of course the amazing food from Steven Kiernan and stunning weather! I think it was the hottest day of the year so far too! They had so many laughs too in our Rory and he was a great addition to their evening reception after drinks in the yurt. Fun for all was had with the skittles alley, welly wanging, sparklers and dancing!

We want to say a huge thank you to all of our wonderful couples over the last 8 years it’s been one hell of a ride ❤️ We are saying good bye to The Little Red Bus as a business into 2025 and aren’t taking any more bookings after 2024. It’s with a heavy heart, but Laura Freeformimages Photography is so busy with her photography and I am so busy with Northwave Electrical unless someone wants to work for us to run Rory or buy the business then it’s going to have to be good night from him. Time is precious to us as a little family and Ethan is growing up so fast! So something has to give! DM us with serious offers if you think you could take on or are local to us here in North Devon and want to earn some extra pennies! Rory is special to us as a family so would have to go to the right person/family or employee ❤️💋 he needs someone fun and dynamic and someone who can drive a left hand 53 year old and who is good with technology! X

Welcome to The Little Red Bus ®

Too special to keep to ourselves we want to share The Little Red Bus with you our clients for your wedding, party or event. We provide the highest quality and unique service where we can be your transport, fun photo booth entertainment or both! With a friendly service, ride with us smile with us!

Meet our 1971 Volkswagen Bus we affectionately call “Rory”, chauffeur driven by Adrian, owner and lover of all things mechanical. Rory, also doubles up as a unique photo booth for your entertainment - Covering Devon, Cornwall, Somerset & Dorset.... and occasionally Nottinghamshire (as I can’t leave my roots!)
