Cool and Quirky Weddings!

Gone are the days when all weddings tended to follow a traditional route…the stereotypical white dress, morning suits and a formal sit down three course wedding breakfast.

Although this, for some, is still the perfect way to celebrate their big day, many brides and grooms today are looking to buck the trend a little and create a wedding day that reflects their own personality and tastes…

Now, with so many venues being licensed for marriage ceremonies, there is array of quirky places available for you to tie the knot in the UK including, aquariums, space museums, underground caves, temples, submarines, haunted castles, subterranean lakes and iconic landmarks!

Positive vote secures five-year investment to attract visitors to Greater Yarmouth

Visit Great Yarmouth has won the green light to continue its work to attract visitors and invest in delivering the best destination experience.

Plans are now under way for events, activities and investment across the Greater Yarmouth area for the next five years after a successful vote by local businesses to back the organisation until 2029.

Key objectives of the Visit Great Yarmouth Business Improvement District (GYTABIA BID) are to bring in more visitors and make Greater Yarmouth’s visitor offer even better so it remains top choice for UK short breaks, holidays and day trips.

BIG WEDNESDAY fireworks are back on October 30th 2024

The free seafront firework display will be at 6pm

Street acts (TBC) at 5pm and returning after the display.

All located on Great Yarmouth Central Seafront

This will be a TWIN firework display, firing from two different locations on Central beach at the same time.
