Wedding Assistant & Bar/Restaurant Supervisor

This is a Full Time Role, working Daytimes, Evenings & Weekends with a competitive salary.
The Boathouse holds Weddings in its private venue throughout the year and we are looking for an Experienced Wedding Assistant & Bar/Restaurant Supervisor to assist the Wedding Co-Ordinator & also Supervise in the bar area when we do not have a wedding on.
We are looking for a hands on, competent person who can work on their own initiative and work well in a team. This can be a fast-paced environment and one where you need to think on your feet and problem solve so that the day runs smoothly.
Key Points & Responsibilities:
- Assisting Wedding Co Ordinator in all aspects of the Wedding
- Making sure the wedding set up is all in order and correct
- Stocking the Wedding Bar
- Liaising with the Bride, Groom & Guests to ensure the smooth running of their day
- Serving the Wedding Breakfast Meals with the Wedding Team
- Working behind the wedding bar
- Ensuring time scales for the day are met and run smoothly
- Promoting the Weddings at the Boathouse is imperative – So social media and marketing is essential
- Liaising with the Banqueting chef
- Ordering drinks for the upcoming weddings
When we do not have a wedding on, you will be required to work in the main bar & Restaurant area.
A Full driving licence and your own transport are essential for this role, as due to shifts worked public transport will not be available at these times.

We are looking for a senior cleaner to work part time.
The position will involve working on a rota-basis and include working weekends.
The work involves a range of cleaning duties in the wedding venue, pub/restaurant area, toilets, bedrooms and lodges where a high standard of cleanliness is required.
It is essential that you have good general cleaning experience and can work as part of a team.
