The Gables are well known as one of the best Wedding venues in the area and over the years we’ve delivered a large handful of them- we’ve seen many happy couples then come back and renew their vows too! We have some brand new packages here at the Gables so if you are looking to get married, ensure you give our Samantha a call in the Wedding Office.
We also have Bespoke pricing so you can custom make your Wedding to suit you. The list is endless so even if we haven’t put it down in writing don’t be afraid to ask... Imagine getting married in one of our Ceremony rooms, heading outside on our patio area in the Sun enjoying welcome drinks of Prosecco, Gin or your favourite cocktail, the Guy’s having a craft beer or a shot of Whisky. Change your traditional sit down meal to a hot buffet or afternoon tea of mixed savoury and sweet treats. Play lawn games on our lovely lawn into the evening soaking up the Summer Sun. Don’t worry if the weather is going to be on the chilly side, you can stay in your function suite and enjoy some music and each others company with board games or hire in some old arcade games.
Although, having said all of above, we are more than just a Wedding venue. We are a hotel with 30 bedrooms including a variety of 4-Poster bedrooms. It is Samantha's job is to ensure the rates and packages are set to tailor your requirements, look out for our special offers throughout the year, they will be posted on Facebook often. The reception team will be on hand to welcome you to the hotel and will be your first point of call if you need anything.
We welcome dogs to stay and even allow their well behaved owners to tag along too!
We are open to residents and non-residents, so if you are local please do pop in to try and food and drink. Will our Head chef and his team are always at hand to ensure the meals go out on time and are well presented. Louise our Operations Manager has a brigade of team members behind him to ensure you are well looked after throughout your time here at the Gables.
