Cake. Everywhere. 😂 This little superstar absolutely smashed his cakesmash shoot — literally! 🎂💙

There’s something magical about watching little ones explore, play and get completely covered in cake… pure joy, no rules, no cleaning up for you (that bit’s on me 😅).

Cakesmash shoots are all about celebrating that big first milestone in the most fun, messy, memorable way possible.

You bring the baby, I’ll bring the chaos, balloons and camera! 📸

They’re only this little once and honestly, the photos are priceless. 🥰

She looked at me and said, ‘I don’t like being in photos.’ But when she saw herself on the back of my camera, she gasped.

She didn’t see awkwardness or flaws anymore — she saw a woman who looks strong, beautiful and confident.

She walked in apologising for not being good at photos. She was all flustered (Spoiler: she smashed it.)

It always amazes me how quick we are to put ourselves down before we even begin. But the truth is, with the right guidance, lighting and encouragement, every woman can shine. And shine she did.

👉 Moral of the story: Stop apologising for existing in photos. You deserve to take up space.

My job isn’t just clicking a camera; it’s creating an experience where you can drop your guard, relax and see your real beauty reflected back.

This beauty walked into the studio saying, ‘I’m not very photogenic.’
Guess what? That’s the line I hear the most. And guess what else? It’s never true.

When you’re in front of my camera, I don’t see what you criticise — I see strength, sparkle and the little details that make you you. That’s what I capture.

She joked, ‘Don’t expect miracles, I’m awkward in front of the camera.’ I laughed — because awkward usually just means authentic. We worked together and her personality burst through every image. Her laughter, her quirks, her realness. She left with photos that felt like her — and she loved them.
