She looked at me and said, ‘I don’t like being in photos.’ But when she saw herself on the back of my camera, she gasped.

She didn’t see awkwardness or flaws anymore — she saw a woman who looks strong, beautiful and confident.

👉 Moral of the story: The way you see yourself is not always the truth. Let someone else show you what’s really there.

She walked in apologising for not being good at photos. She was all flustered (Spoiler: she smashed it.)

It always amazes me how quick we are to put ourselves down before we even begin. But the truth is, with the right guidance, lighting and encouragement, every woman can shine. And shine she did.

👉 Moral of the story: Stop apologising for existing in photos. You deserve to take up space.

She admitted, ‘I’ve avoided photos for years.’ That one hit me hard.

Think of all the memories she missed being in. But today changed that. We made sure she felt relaxed, confident and comfortable — and she finally saw herself as worthy of being photographed.

👉 Moral of the story: Don’t hide from the camera. You’re worth remembering.

Her first words were, ‘I don’t think I’ll like any of these.’ By the end, she was asking which ones she could print for her wall.

That transformation is why I do what I do. The photos are gorgeous, but the real magic is in how she now feels about herself.

👉 Moral of the story: The right photo session isn’t about pictures. It’s about confidence.

She told me, ‘I hate how I look in photos.’ What she didn’t realise was that she was glowing from the second she walked in.

My job isn’t just clicking a camera; it’s creating an experience where you can drop your guard, relax and see your real beauty reflected back.

That’s what happened here.

👉 Moral of the story: You don’t need to change how you look — you just need to change how you see yourself.

This beauty walked into the studio saying, ‘I’m not very photogenic.’
Guess what? That’s the line I hear the most. And guess what else? It’s never true.

When you’re in front of my camera, I don’t see what you criticise — I see strength, sparkle and the little details that make you you. That’s what I capture.

She left the studio smiling at her images, seeing herself the way everyone else already did. 💜

👉 Moral of the story: You are far more photogenic than you think.

She joked, ‘Don’t expect miracles, I’m awkward in front of the camera.’ I laughed — because awkward usually just means authentic. We worked together and her personality burst through every image. Her laughter, her quirks, her realness. She left with photos that felt like her — and she loved them.
👉 Moral of the story: Being yourself is never awkward. It’s your superpower.

When she arrived, she said, ‘I’m usually the one behind the camera.’

I hear that all the time. Women take thousands of photos of their kids, friends, pets and partners… but rarely exist in photos themselves.

That stops here. You deserve to be seen, celebrated and remembered — not just the one holding the phone.

👉 Moral of the story: You’re part of the story too. Step into the frame.

She sat down and whispered, ‘I hate having my photo taken.’

I smiled, because I know that feeling never lasts here. We chatted, we laughed, we took our time. The nerves dropped away and what shone through was her real personality — fun, warm, gorgeous.

By the end, she admitted she actually enjoyed it.

👉 Moral of the story: Sometimes the things we dread turn into the biggest confidence boosts.

When you’ve got a camera and a crazy idea…

These are the shoots that remind me why I love my job — turning “what if” ideas into jaw-dropping photos.

Creativity is my happy place and if you want photos that are unique, vibrant, and unapologetically YOU… I’m your girl.

At a recent surprise 60th birthday party, I wasn’t just capturing the laughter, dancing, and celebrations – I also took the chance to gather family together for a few portraits. These moments are priceless, and often events are one of the rare times when everyone’s in the same place at the same time.

Even though I was booked for the party, I always like to give a little extra – making sure you walk away with not just event photos, but family memories you can treasure for years to come. 💕

Never one to miss an opportunity… 😉📸

While photographing a surprise 60th birthday party recently, I managed to sneak the birthday boy and his partner outside for a few portraits together. Even though I was booked to capture the event itself, I always like to go that little bit further – making sure you get as much value (and as many photographs!) as possible.

Events are about moments, but they’re also about people – and it was lovely to give this couple a set of portraits they can treasure, alongside all the fun and laughter from the party itself. 💕
