Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse are beyond excited to announce that Kev Hickman will be joining us on drums and Charlie Rachael Kay on bass as our rhythm section for our July tour! Unfortunately, Stephen Mildwater is tied up with a film project for the next 8 months, but we know Kev and Charlie are going to bring some serious energy to the stage.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the 4th Glasgow Blues Rhythm & Rock Festival, the success of which (best attended and best received to date) has confirmed it will continue to be a two-per-year event.
There are no guarantees at club level these days, especially when taking a chance on an eight-hour matinee to evening event, on a Sunday, that’s not city centre situated (albeit still in the city), so to move 450 tickets was very pleasing and hugely satisfying.
Thanks also to the Greig Taylor Band, Connor Selby, Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse, Elles Bailey and Cardinal Black for making it such a great event.
Full line-up details for the 5th GBR&RF (17th November) to follow, but delighted to announce Dom Martin and his band will headline along with welcome GBR&RF returns for Scottish outfits Gerry Jablonski And The Electric Band and Bison Hip, plus a chance to see Xander and the Peace Pirates, who had to sadly cancel out of the 3rd GBR&RF, at the eleventh hour, last November.

The fourth Glasgow Blues Rhythm & Rock Festival will take place on Sunday 28th April at the Oran Mor.
The event, which is looking like it may be heading towards a sell-out, is a five band, afternoon-to-evening feature co-headlined by Elles Bailey and Cardinal Black, both of whom will perform a 75 minute set (see full event line-up and running order on posts, further below).
With just three weeks until the festival, we’re looking at some of the acts who will be performing; last time around it was young blues troubadour Connor Selby, this time around its Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse.
California-based roots-rock band Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse are fronted by the Louisiana born and bred, multi-ward winning singer & songwriter Greta Valenti, and feature the talents of British guitarist Robin Davey (the youngest ever inductee into the British Blues Hall of Fame, Davey spent time as an artist on Atlantic and Interscope Records; he has recorded with a wide spectrum of artists from Mick Jagger to Katy Perry).
The band’s heady and distinctive brand of roots-rock, which includes everything from Americana-country and soul to indie, rock and Louisiana blues, was heard to fine effect on 2019’s eclectic and inspired debut album 'Love & Murder,' which spurned a number of Top 10 hits in genre charts across Europe.
The band followed up 'Love & Murder' with 'Good Times End Times' in 2022, which led to the band gaining momentum across the UK and Europe for both their genre-bending music and acclaimed, one-of-a-kind live shows.
On May 3rd, Beaux Gris Gris & The Apocalypse will expand their eclectic yet alluring sound further with a new, 14 track album entitled 'Hot Nostalgia Radios.'
The album has been preceded by lead-off single, the hot and rockin’ 'Satisfy Your Queen' and current release, raucous ‘n’ bluesy Louisiana to California banger, 'Oh Yeah!'
