So you may (or may not) have noticed that I’ve been a little quiet lately 😔
That’s because I’ve been quite poorly! But this week I’ve managed to get back to one of my happy places…. MY BOUTIQUE 💗

Where I had the absolute pleasure of meeting this beautiful lady and finding her incredible dress!! (Which she looked a picture of bridal perfection in 😍)
Plus, the icing on the cake…. We share a lovely friend who came along too… and brought the crazy!! (See last photo!!)

9 years ago…. This happened!! I was the bride saying “I do” on the most wonderful day EVER! And of course wearing the most incredible dress EVER!! 💗
Brides are always asking me what my dress was like, and I always find it hard to describe…
“inside out”
“with old raggy ribbons”
“like it was found in a Parisian Miss Havishams loft”
Are just a few of the ways I’ve tried to describe it!! Haha
So I thought today was the perfect day to share a few photos with you! 9 years later…. I still LOVE IT!! xXx

I get asked this question ALOT! Which sometimes makes me a little bit sad, because the answer is YES!! 💗 (swipe photo for my answer!)
My boutique IS beautiful and my dresses ARE incredible, but that doesn’t (and shouldn’t) mean they’re not affordable for EVERY bride! 🌟💫
I search the world for dresses that aren’t your standard wedding dress! Dresses that are worth every single penny you spend on them… in terms of style, quality, design, beauty and overall fabulousness!! 😍
Which means, by being a W&L bride… you get to look a million dollars, without having to spend it! 🎉

I feel very BLESSED to have the loveliest most beautiful brides, but also the most thoughtful 💗
Beth (who said YES to a Willow & Lace dress a couple of weeks ago) (and looked absolutely beautiful 💗) (and chose her wedding destination based on her dress!!) Came to see me yesterday with this GORGEOUS gift!! 💗
Remembering my love of the colour pink and my old boutiques pink front door…. She created this amazing “I said Yes to the dress” sign for my new boutique! 💗 Aaaaw!!
Beth said it was only something little… but to me it means the WORLD!! How lucky am I to have the BEST brides…. EVER!! Thank you Sooooooooo Much!! 😚💗 xXx
Oh and… of course, it was only right that Beth was the first bride to use my brand new sign!! xXx 💕

This week I have had the ABSOLUTE PLEASURE of spending a couple of afternoons with Beth!! 💕 Who is one of the loveliest, beautifulist (my new word!) brides ever!! 💗
She came to me with inspiration… not only to find her perfect wedding dress…. But also to inspire the DESTINATION & COUNTRY!!! For her wedding!! (This was a first for me!!) haha.
I always say the wedding dress is THE most important part of a wedding and inspires so many other decisions… but I’ve NEVER had a country be decided by the wedding dress choice!! (Beth is my kind of bride!!) haha.
After a wonderful couple of hours spent together, with lots of smiles, giggles, and lovely conversations we finally found THE DRESS!! 😍
Which is almost as SPECIAL as Beth herself!! Who is truly lovely!! 😍
After a visit from her lovely mum… it was a unanimous… YES!! And full wedding planning ahead!! ❤️ For those lucky enough to be invited to their wedding…. You are in for an absolute treat!! I will wait before posting a photo of Beth, so that she and her incredibly lucky husband can tell all their family and friends that….. The wedding is on!! 💕

Meet Gudrun…. My Icelandic QUEEN!! 🏔️
I first spoke to this beautiful lady over a year ago, when she contacted me about a dress she’d seen online and fallen in LOVE with!
I stock this incredible designer (but sadly not the dress she loved!) Sadly, (or I like to think by fate….) Gudrun was unable to find this dress… Anywhere!!
So, after months of us talking and Gudrun visiting her local boutiques to try on many other dresses (that just didn’t compare) She realised that the dress really was THE DRESS!! Despite her never actually trying it on! ❤️
So… She asked me to order the dress for her… and of course I agreed!!
Not many brides would consider buying a dress they’d never tried on, but when you know… YOU KNOW!!
Proving that not only is she incredibly beautiful, she’s incredibly brave, determined, unwilling to settle… and some might say a little crazy!! (Hands up! Me too!!)
This week she made the journey to collect her dress… and needless to say finally meeting Gudrun and seeing her wearing her incredible dress was a truly SPECIAL MOMENT!! She looked SPECTACULAR!! ❤️
Thank you soooooooo much for putting your unwavering trust and faith in me…. It was such a pleasure to bring you and your perfect dress together!! I can’t wait to see your incredible Iceland wedding photos as you become a W&L ICELANDIC BRIDE!! xXx 💕 I LOVE my job! xXx
